I have stopped thinking about people&rsquo s motivation in a public investment forum but the incredible amount of mis-information on EHT in this thread amazes me. Does not mean EHT cannot turn into a dud from future financial mis-management but as at now on Corporate Info released, I am happily and quietly accumulating at this price level for mid to long term hold based on my own due diligence. Recently stayed in one of their hotels in the New Jersey suburbs. It was full and bustling with corporate and social events even in off peak season. To each his/her own. Really hope price stays down for a while more so I can increases holdings as funds become available.

Apparently you didn't read up on EHT latest financial reporting on 14Aug, which show they beat dpu forecast but instead give negative motherhood statement. You just discredit yourself 😉

The City Long Beach need the Queen Mary. Their support is intangibly valuable.
That may be true - but there is a risk the Queen Mary is declared uninhabitable, and while repairs may or may not be their responsibility, the REIT will still lose a big chunk of income while it is being repaired. Also, while the lease remaining is 60+ years, I am not sure if it can last that much longer. Do ships last 100-200 years? So there is a big risk on this property/ship/

Far away - next March. But, frankly, I was rather impressed by the Info Pack they sent over recently, fo US Tax reporting. Quite organised and professional looking. I think this will be a super long term hold. Like if they were to redevelop their existing properties, all quite low rise currently - to maximise plot ratios, and SELL THE QUEEN MARY to some loaded PRC investor, LOL.
