nqing87      ( Date: 27-Mar-2016 14:44) Posted: after looking through this counter, just realise that parkson holdings is the main shareholder for parkson retail.. they are related right? parkson holdings hold 67% (458mil shares) of the shares.. so about 220mil shares not theirs.. with such a low share price, it will take about 39mil bucks to buy all the remaining shares that are not under parkson holdings.. parkson retail has 114mil cash based on latest report with no debt.. i wonder if a takeover offer will be consider by parkson holdings.. assuming the cash is real, they have about nearly 17cents per share of cash.. so those who are buying are sort of buying the rest of their assets for free.. even if their retail business seems to be in decline, seems like quite a bargain on surface.. any opinions?
