Just wondering: if UE is such an undervalued stock, why is it that there are no more serious and wealthier competitors for it?

If Oxley not competing and YP team not delisting UE, could be they teaming up!? 33+11.x=44.x trying to reach 50% mark!?
ask u all, based on 2.6 offer , i will lose marginally ($200+). would would u do ? sell on mkt at > = 2.7 if possible? or hold out and let offer lapse and then how?
wats the sentiment of the minority?

Today broke 2.70. The show will start after 29 August. Doubt they can get 50%. Minority shareholders sell in open market. These are the shareholders who subscribed to rights share at $1.50.

Hi Desmodeus! Which day' s paper?
to collect 20%, reckon to buy up to 2.80
matter of time it breaks 2.70 and stay there. maybe today

From Day 1 after the offer was announced, it was likened to frying the " ikan bilis" ................ at least for now, there is some hope in terms of natural justice and perhaps make certain ppl look rather odd and out of the ordinary ...... if/when the show get exciting

one thing may happen
business times report that the offer would be poorly received. many red faces in one camp

In the first place, is Oxley one of the party invited to bid?
What will happen on August 29 if less than 50%?
What will happen on August 29 if more than 50% but less than 90%?

11.45% as of 17 aug
Good for minority shareholders if new entrant acts as counterbalanced force, even if no new offer is made.

party poppers come in now. lol
It a total mind game now like poker. But Oxley did a great  maneuver, well-kept & stealthy. Already collect 11% and the price still hover BELOW 2.70! And if  Oxley still dont stop at 11%, it will make the YL/P worry, knowing while they are making the general offer now, they are not allow to buy from market to compete with oxley and thus, they can only stone there and watch oxley build it strength day by day. I guess how they will wish 29 August come sooner for them to break the chain and off all restrictions.
But again, the total number of issued shares are fix and there are only so much float in market. PS: Me vested in 2.8x range collectin dust/dividend in storeroom, got suggestion boh..

anyone knowledgeable about real estate in Australia can put a potential development value of the quarry in Brisbane. Pacific Ocean view
10% will be 2.86
20% will be 3.12
summer palace development fully justify

agree.
I think they will continue to deny and accumulate (if price hovers where they are now) until date of closing. Thereafter it will be interesting as to whether they will be invited to the new Board (unlikely from my perspective) and they will show their intent & raise their hands....... some/most of us may have discounted the possibility of them having a consortium. Based on the composition of YL/P consoritum, it is almost open-secret that they need to split the spoil someday/somehow to achieve their objectives and with the recent UE results announcement and disclosure of the new RNAV, the carrot is openly revealed.

I started to read the thick circulars to shareholders. Not quite fully understand due to lack of financial background. Is anybody here able to explain in layman or ah Beng terms? There' s a portion with72.22/16.67/11.11%!!
And now adding Oxley in with over 10%. I can understand maybe is to block since this will lower the other portion to below 90%. Is Ching a friendly party or just playing along?
Theres a statement mentioning not increase offer price unless got competition. If got competition, then should already be known even earlier right? Otherwise why the seller side choose this buyer consortium? Unless the others like KKR and few others also show interest after this offer is made?
Still left only one week to August 29!
