PCRD holding company owning PCCW and HKT.
Both giving good dividends. PCRD will use it most likely to exchange for more PCCW shares.
PCRD becomes more valuable.
Sometimes , it is all about timing. It is destiny.
I remember Pricess Elizabeth Estate School. Not living there, but had a friend living in Jalan Rameja, served by bus service 173.

I was in Tokyo. Above the Tokyo train station, there is this very impressive building named Pacific Century .....etc.
Though PCRD or PCPD no longer owns the building, they still keep the name.
But interestingly, PCPD keeps an office in this building.
Why in Tokyo ?
Hotels ?
Property development ?
Tourism ?
Anyway, having an office in Tokyo means you have nice (polite) Japanese ladies as employees. Which is a joy when you go to office for work or for meetings.
Is there connection between say Indonesia and Japan ? Needs to do some homework on it. SoftBank ? Alibaba ?
When I was a little kid, I studied in a Primary school in Hillview area known as guess what ...Princess Elizabeth Estate School.
Being a shrewd observer, I observed these :
There were 3 kids on the block same class
1 a very nice boy next door chap, another a very rich kid, another a big bully
Rich kid always asked nice boy to do homework, and other errands.
But when rich kid has good things like nice cakes, he only gives big bully to eat as big bully always tried to bully hehe
So, when I grew up, I asked myself this : do I be nice guy or big bully ?
Ans : none of the above . Cos I want to be rich
The funny thing about us Asians is this :
World Cup times, we go support Team England fully, wholeheartedly.
We cheered, we screamed for England.
When England won the World Cup, we waved , cheered....but then the England Captain turned around and said :
" who are you ? "
A bit thirsty. Let me go Watsons and buy some mineral water 1st ( we always support )

Our deserved dividends were used to buy up more PCCW shares and as a result, we supposed to get more dividends , which in turn can " buy " more PCCW shares or give out real cash dividends to those deserved PCRD shareholders.
To say the main point, PCRD share price are below its true potential or fair value.
Just hope the Prí nce will like the King if he exits ,
And if he makes an offer,
The offer will be as good if not better than ex colonial powers
PCCW and HKT results are really good. Consistent and steady growth for many consecutive quarters.

Yes, agreed. This is a company that receives significant amounts of dividends from both PCCW and HKT for a few years. These last 2 years, PCRD's has utilized these dividend monies to buy back about 13% of the PCRD stocks. As such, the free float of PCRD is probably about 10.3%. So I do not think that the PCRD management will perform further stock buyback this financial year. Instead, I believe that the management will use these dividends for either new business ventures or possibly dividend payout. I am hopeful. Vested 😊
