In an aftermarket filing on Tuesday, DBS Bank, on behalf of Star Attraction, says it will despatch a letter to non-assenting Wheelock shareholders to exercise its right to acquire all the shares held by them at the same offer price.
DBS Bank also says the offeror does not intend to take any step for the public float to be restored, or for the trading suspension of Wheelock&rsquo s shares to be lifted.
The date of Wheelock&rsquo s delisting has yet to be confirmed.

Result not out yet..
As of 1 10 18 they got 88.1%... if today get another 2%. .than game over !!

They hold 85.5%, if can ask Sgx premission to delist also can...they just ask their supporters in HK and Sg come down to vote, 75% maybe can loh....After dellisted six months later give some sweetener and wash brain little, easily get another 4.5% from retailers who think year 2019 world market no good because of interest rate up might surrender to them.
Offer close in October 2, since they have more than 80% now, what do you guys recommend. I am a novice hoping to learn from all you sifus here
Exactly. Vard also didn' t hit the compulsory acquisition level of acceptance but they delisted the company anyways. Only needed 75% to delist which the controlling shareholder already have.

By sticking to its lousy offer, those long term shareholders and funds will not bite.
