Anybody knows if this attempt fail. How long they have to wait if want to call for another privatization?

Very exciting this stock now. Either goes up more(if have better offer) or drop more(if cancel privatization). Why dont halt trading...

This is the official 1st time. The other time dont have formal announcement and cancel the SUPER Project. And the share price drop from 0.39 to 0.34

I presume they will raise the offer if acceptance rate continues to be below 90%. Second time trying, the Offeror would want the deal to go through.

seems like the offeror not going to raise the offer and for sure they wont have enough acceptance to even turn the deal unconditional, hence eventually this offer likely to lapse. In this case, is it better for us to sell it in open market now and buy back later?

Neutral_Guy      ( Date: 26-Oct-2022 08:54) Posted:

It will not go thru. For sure.

Anyone can advise?

Just to check if I do not act of the form (i.e reject), but ultimately the acquisition goes through. Then what will be the default option? Cash?

Really hope that SGX would have started to do more given the wave of low-ball offers. But I understand that stricter delisting rules would make the exchange less competitive.

Yes, similar to SPH ,and maybe Sembmarine merger case ....The magt well armed with tons of proxy supporters and shares to make it go through ....just 90% only can already...

MambaFinancial89      ( Date: 21-Oct-2022 15:51) Posted:

Thought the same, but this is a General Offer, the rules for a General Offer are different from the voluntary delisting rules (which as you mention, need to be fair and reasonable). I continue to remain confused about the differences and minority shareholders continue to remain dsadvantaged. Just like the case of TTJ where the offer was both not fair and not reasonable but still went through.

Eh! I thought now cannot say " not fair but reasonable" or " fair but unreasonable" already? SGX got put out circular cannot be bipolar on the advisements to shareholders? Or did I misunderstand SGX stand on this

Even the IFA stated that the Offer(page 67) is "Not fair, but reasonable." So TLW Success, please don't waste our time and your resources for this type of low baller takeover. Spend more time to expand the business. U know how to count, we investors also know how to count too.

There are currently > 3 mils shares out there selling at 36.5, I wonder why the offerer don' t scoop it? Are they restricted to do that? I only know they cannot buy above offer price, otherwise have to up the offer price for the rest. But buying lower than offer price should be ok right?

Surely low take up. Base on the buying and selling volume so low. I think Maybe less than 60%.

Depends if they' ve got enough votes to get across the line but doesn' t seem to have much institutional interest to help topple things over like FHT, which would push TLW to raise the offer price. It may just quietly slip through, which feels like thats what they are hoping to achieve anyway.
