For the whole of September month, foreign institutions were net buyers of STA Thai, the lead market. STGT also attracted foreign buying in Sept month as well with friday' foreign institutions buying about 9.3 million shares. Happy days just to sit out your investments and patiently waiting for big surprise on STA Thai 3rd quarters quarters result release on 13 November. Short term technicals showing signs of a potential breakup above 29.50 bahts key resistance for the whole of this week with strong support at 26.00 bahts. Medium to Long Term Trend: Strong technicals showing uptrend intact. Fundamentals: STA is a good value fundamentally sound company for medium to long term buy and hold investors on humongous earnings contribution from STGT for the next few quarters besides enjoying the 56% of STGT without paying full value to be invested in STGT. Do your own due diligence to decide whether investing in STA makes sense!!!
Both STGT and STA are up in SET with good volume. Looks positive!

I do not think Q3 they will not be making profit .

If your prognosis on STA rubber division will be reporting a loss 3rd quarters, then suggest you sell short and hope to profit from a mkt drop to prove your point.
Don't have to instigate others from investing in a value and fundamentally sound company for the next few quarters for dividend play and potential price appreciation by using my name to cover your backside!!!
I suspect you are trying to influence weak holders to cut lossess at present levels whatever your motives are.
Haha, you cannot even get a simple fact that STA holds 56% of STGT right!!
How then to be an influencer on other mkt participants??

Thailand is likely to see higher shipments of rubber, increasing 3.19% this year, because of rising demand for rubber gloves and auto tyres, as well as the government' s proactive approach to promote rubber exports.
Speaking after meeting on Thursday with the International Trade Promotion Department, Rubber Authority of Thailand and rubber cooperatives, Commerce Minister Jurin Laksanawisit said Thailand' s rubber products are expected to fetch 359 billion baht this year, 3.19% higher than 2019.
Natural rubber shipments are expected to drop by 5% to 122 billion baht by year-end..

The report clearly mentioned higher shipments of rubber.
It is a known fact that the Thai gov has been pushing for more higher value downstream rubber products eg gloves and tyres etc ..
With the Covid19 still not under control, the rubber industry is doing pretty well imo.
STA will benefit from the increased shipment as manufacturer and suppliers for both raw rubber and rubber products.
Coming results will be good due to both raw rubber and gloves doing well in the improving market environment.

From your comment, you totally missed the point of the article. Market is forwarding looking isn' t it? The lower the base from 8 months this year, the higher the growth will be from now.

i realised that the article was out on friday morning, 6am. the market has a full day to take in the news but px moved up by $0.04 only. It seems that mkt is not interested in this counter and not convinced that the company will do well.
Maybe, i just sell on monday/tuesday if there is still no strong buying.
