The High Court Order will be given on 17 October. It's formality. Payment may be earlier than 1 Nov. See HTL Scheme arrangement. Payment was much earlier than announced. Check with your CPFIS Bank. They will be able to advise you.

Sorry, brother, just saw ur qn below.  Yes, SMRT is being privatised by Tumasek at a px of 1.68.  It is all but approved, only awaiting the High Court' s sanction.  All these will be done over the next two wks n shareholders are expected to be paid by 1 Nov.  I don' t play stocks with CPF funds, so apologies I can' t answer that qn.  But I think the  money wld be channelled back via ur CPF investment a/c.  Sorry too, to hear that u are gonna make a loss.

You will be paid $1.68. By cheque if you didn't link bank acc to CDP. If you receive dividends through bank, it's the same account.

You need not do anything. SMRT Legal Adviser filed documents with Court and hearing fixed for 17 Oct. After Court Order extracted, they will file with ACRA. Once filed, SGX will pay all shareholders through their bank accounts or cheque if they didn't their bank account to CDP.

Still many buyers queuing at 1.675
Quite a significant done at 1.680, but who would want to buy from the market, which I guess is short covering. |

CPF is risk free.  If they want to continue taking risks, they can have a whole host of stocks to choose from.  Can put in ComfortDelgro for a start.  But that too can tank ....

Ex-smrt shareholders are enjoying at least 5% every year for the last 10 years (exception perhaps for the last 1-2 years), you think they will put insai cpf for 2.5%?

Put inside CPF retirement/special account, lower risk and better yield.

. 80% +voted for, and they hold  92% of the shares weightage. Pretty obvious thats its going to go through. There are just some annoying flies that shorted and hoped for approval of sales to fail.

I have broker calling me to sell SMRT two day prior to AGM telling me if the EGM failed to get approval, the price might drop back to pre-offer level. I guessed someone might have listen to him and shorted instead, and got played out by the approval.

It' s kind of strange that lot of transactions were done at bought from sellers at 1.68 and sold to buyers at 1.675 when the TH' s offer is $1.68. After brokerage fee and other expenses, still got meat meh? Shortists covering? May be they shorted it thinking the EGM would not go thru' and price will drop back to pre-offered level.

End of another temasek sponsored takeover at cheap valuation, from nol, tigerair and smrt all should be clear sg gov gonna use this once in a decade opportunity to take back control of transportation service from private hands. Success rate 100% even had so many negative feedback which we all know form only 1% of total votes. Lot of cpf invrstors very willing to let go if sg ready to bail them out, next delist target might be SIA, time to delist this babe so fares can be reduced and service quality improved without need to pay dividend to investors. I wanna competive fare with best quality service from sia currently sia fare is like $200 more expensive.
I was in the queue for the bento set in and saw other shareholders exchanged bento voucher for the capitaland voucher. Hence, exchanged it to avoid queue knowing the fact that the bento set could be fantastic in view of the large turn out.take voucher is better option.

| In that case, it's an assortment. An uncle and aunty were eating their bento set which has rice, potatoes, deep fried stuff (looks like fish slices to me). It's like what is given by Delmonte AGM and Singpost sometime back. Think can get at Food Court for less than $5 |
