Innotek is worth at least $1.20 in today' s market. Watch for breakout soon.
The discount is typically the result of a negotiation between the company and the placement agent bank, with the bank arguing for as big a discount as possible to make it easier for them to place the shares.
Aside from size of discount, factors which affect how easy it is to place the shares include the size of the offering relative to the size of the company, the familiarity of potential placees to the company, how " hot" the company is etc. For many of these factors the MoneyMax placement would have been easier so in a way it does not surprise me that the discount there was smaller.
That said, I have previously commented that I think the Innotek placement could probably have been done on better terms than it was and I stick to that assessment.
