OK I guess. But it shows that this investment is questionable value.

which view do you take?
1) AP oil clever in negotiating, buy stake in finance leasing co, have a put option built in
2) If the investment was great, why is there a need to have a put option? Is it because no one else in their right mind would invest otherwise? also what is AP Oil doing getting into finance leasing?
Vested Some $0.255!!!

Nav $0.31 ...good deal for the CEO to buy 25cents...
if tml publish newspaper surely tua chiong le...
CHIONG arh KGI upgrade today !!!
the volume come again...
after KGI' s initiation, the share price shot up to a peak of $0.34 but collapsed subsequently together with the market.
2Q2015' s results seems lacklustre - unsure why the acquisition of Heptalink was not reflected in top and bottomline contributions. are there any followers of the company who may share their thoughts?
this company is surely worth a look. market cap now is $37mil, holding about $31mil cash with zero debt and has consistently generated positive cash flow. in their AR, it was also disclosed that they disposed shareholding in a subsidiary and expected to gain $2mil which will have a positive financial impact to FY2015. that being said, investing at current price seems to have a good margin of safety since by 1H2015 to be announced by mid Aug 2015.

Absolutely ! All minority shareholders should go to SIAS and lodge a complaint. Then attend the AGM to kick the management' s butts.
We need some activist investors in Singapore, similar to US.
The management is not adding shareholder value by keeping large amount of cash in the bank instead of distributing as dividends.

it' s becos their management doesnt take good care of minority shareholder.
pretty under performance the market since 2014 which i have noted when the price was 0.17.
if you go buy Shanghai index , it' s already 100%.

Hihi!
Does anyone know why AP Oil has lost some steam since rising to 24cent quickly in April?
This stock has a large cash stash that should be put into better use. And no debt at all!

Up 20% in last 2 days
Time to revisit this counter.... starting to wake up
Low volume counter but maybe got potential at this price.
Exactly, but NAV growth over the past few years made up entirely of cash, just demonstrates a lack of ideas. Owner just waiting to cash out his pension?

dividend has been consistent at 0.5 cents for the past few years i think.
but NAV increased.
Dissapointing sales, but net margins held up fairly well. Management will need to explain whats happend in Bangladesh, revenues down 92% there, wiping $15million off group sales from last yr.
Cash in line with my earlier estimate $26.2million, dissapointing no one off bonus payment to shareholders, given so much cash sitting around undeployed.   Management need to convince us they have a strategy to generate returns from all this cash. Right now it feels like we are subsidising a low risk pension scheme for the founder and his wife.
