0.15cents! Ouch!
A uncle of mine use to tell us to invest in this stock for dividend, I suspect he still holds quite a bit in his portfolio although he has stop talking about it since 2 + years ago. and the AGM Q& A replies yesterday do not sound convincing. Time to exit when still can?

The good:
- revenue without their PS has surpass those years when they have their PS. Question is will the revenue continue to grow at this rate? Will be looking at the next two Qs for some indications.
- can see the mgmt is trying their best to balance between rewarding their shareholders and the cashflow. They practically payout all their free cashflow.
The bad:
- gross profit margin dropped from their ususal 33% to 25%. Adverse effects on their bottomline which affects their ability to pay good dividend.
If the revenue and margin trends continues, a 4cts dividend might be possible.
Possible price till next FY will be 46cts, 53.5cts and 61.5cts. For now about 38cts.

Nera FY2017 net profit increased 120% to 8.5m.
Cash 20.7m, borrowing 11.3m, net cash 9.4m
Dividend 1.5cents payable on 25.05.2018(XD on 08.05.2018)
Total dividend for FY2017=2.5cents(dividend yield more than 7%)
Company is very generous to give us $$$

Q3 numbers in NOv was 18% higher. YTD 9 mths also higher. THis Q is the last Q. I think summarised numbers should be good unles Q4 takes a beating.

Share price goes up to 0.365/0.37.
I don' t intend to sell because of div.(about 7% yield)
Hope every year can give 2.5 cents.

Think of buying more to collect the dividend every year.

covered my CFD shorts.. i think quite bottom .. wait for 0.36 to start entering..

Don't buy too much into their cloud capability.. more marketing than anything else. Cloud is still dominated by amazon and Microsoft.. even singtel is struggling and swapping to co-exist with the big boys
I shorted from .395 down after earnings release play up .. Will cover and long back if price doesn't get below 0.37..
Don't forget ever 2 cents on 100 lots is 2k profit within a week after earnings release.. 500lots is 10k profit. Not difficult

Yeah, I saw the network infrastructure seems to be doing well, and the new CEO has been complimented on being the person driving it.
The cloud services are growing at phenomenal rate, and here in SGX, can' t find a good cloud company.
I just did some checks, quick ones, and come to the conclusion there are some big boys dominating the cloud scene. It' s hard for a Singaporean company to get a bite of the biz. Probably, those with more success will be Singtel, but I don' t like that company, coz they can' t think out of the box. |

I was a long-time (& probably a shade below the top-20) shareholder until about 3 years ago and I have moved-out for obvious reasons and never looked-back. Cloud? You are having cloudy-outlook!! Remember during the heydays of PC ...... the parties who took the bacon were M/S and Intel (lesser extent AMD) ..... the " manufacturer" of whatever brand ..... just assemble or out-sourced the assembly to someone else on razor-thin margin ...... so no diff in cloud-biz.
