US Bank Tower is in a strategic location in Downtown LA. Been there some years ago while working in LA. Expect good profit. OUE looks to be turning around.

Deutsch Bank says that Oue is in the final stage of negotiation to sell its US Bank Tower. Oue bought it in Jun.' 13 for US$367.5m or $459.3m. Its latest valuation given by The Edge on19Nov.' 18 is 
US605m or $828.85 using US$1 = $1.37 on 28Dec' 18. This gives it a net profit of $369.55m not taking into account any AEI undertaken yet !  A cool 80% profit !     Wyeo.

Oue -- Don' t forget the selling price $908m --  the buying price of 53.1% Oue Downtown. The gross profit is $446m. The net profit should be minus little else. The buy price of $870.5m can be easily 
determined by googling ' price of former dbs twin towers ' . This huge profit should be reported in 4q usually reported in coming Feb' 19. I say the share price is not pricing in this because of the bad news.

I sound like suggesting you should buy at its current price -- no.  You could be right that the price could go even lower than its recent low of 1.36. My investing style is to buy when the stock keeps going
down provided there are fundamental, good value & catalysts. The selling of significant portion of the Japanese porfolio is a potential catalyst, but at the moment it is hard to determine its cost unlike that of

OCBC is reporting that OueLippo is selling next year a significant portion of its portfolio of high-quality nursing facilities in Japan worth $300m. Mandarin Orchard food poisoning: Main ballroom forced to close after 175 fall ill at 4 separate events

SINGAPORE: Banquet operations at Mandarin Orchard Singapore' s main ballroom have been suspended with immediate effect after 175 people fell ill with food poisoning and nine were hospitalised, the authorities said late on Wednesday (Dec 5).
The 175 cases were linked to four separate events held at the Grand Ballroom at Mandarin Orchard Hotel between Dec 1 and 3, said the Ministry of Health (MOH), National Environment Agency (NEA) and Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA).
The nine people who were hospitalised are in stable condition. 
Investigations are ongoing, said the authorities. 
As all the affected people had attended events or eaten meals at the hotel' s Grand Ballroom, and in view of " suspected ongoing transmission," authorities said the NEA had  also suspended the banquet kitchen serving the Grand Ballroom.
The hotel has also been instructed to close the Grand Ballroom to conduct a thorough clean-up and disinfection.
It is also required to dispose of " all ready-to-eat food, thawed food and perishable food items, and conduct thorough cleaning and sanitising of its premises including equipment, utensils, work surfaces and toilets" , the authorities said in their joint statement.
" The suspension and closure will be in place until NEA is satisfied that the public health risks have been addressed."

THE stock of hotel trust OUE Hospitality Trust and its sponsor, OUE, slipped on Wednesday after dozens of people were reported to have fallen ill after attending a wedding banquet at the Mandarin Orchard Singapore.
Singapore' s National Environment Agency, Ministry of Health, Public Utilities Board, and Agri-food and Veterinary Authority are jointly investigating the incident, according to reports by The New Paper. Mandarin Orchard Singapore is a portfolio hotel of OUE Hospitality Trust.

Hi, bishan 22, the fish is still alive. It has gone down to 1.48 but has been turning up near to its high of 1.53. these past two days. It should come to Oue' s latest buyback from 1.57 to 1.60. At this price, it is
still grossly undervalued to its latest nav of $4.39 to $4.46. These are good assets in Asia which is the fastest growing region in the world. Properties in its gateway cities always sell at a premium.Look at
