The anwser is Yes, like other businesses for example, in Vietnam hotel. But these losses are easily covered by the high dividend payout by HKT and PCCW. Great stock for extremely good dividend play. It is Richard Li' s ATM outside HK and China...he holds 89 percent and pay himself(and we benefited) good dividends. Better then the Hong Fok, just pay themselves high salaries and not dividends to us, small shareholders.
