Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) Trust estimates that its cargo volume would take only a minor hit if tariffs mooted by the United States on China exports materialise.
Chief executive Gerry Yim said at a briefing yesterday that the items targeted by the US were mostly from heavy industry. This would affect ports in Tianjin and Dalian rather than Hong Kong and Shenzhen, where HPH ports are located, while high-tech products are often air-flown rather than shipped by sea.
HPH Trust' s ports tend to handle exports such as garments, furniture, toys and electronics. Only electronics are on the sanctions list

HUTCHISON Port Holdings (HPH) Trust on Friday posted a 12.9 per cent drop in net profit to HK$145.4 million (S$24.3 million) for its first quarter ended March 31, 2018, while revenue rose 3.5 per cent to HK$2.7 billion.
Earnings per unit attributable to unitholders fell in tandem to 1.67 HK cents, versus 1.92 HK cents a year ago.

What I get some info was some sorts of Li KS had offended the China New Govt and for saving his family biz
He immediately step down for his son taking over for his new Gen on new way of biz deal with new policy of China.
I do not how real this rumors , But looking on the chart, I will stand side and monitor for a period of time.

Erm, it happens in all the post for all the counters. If never recover he either keep quiet or say he long long time ago sell at profit liao. If recover from low, he will say he buy at the bottom.

I think this forum really double edged sword. If one is not careful and follow blindly or with little dd all the calls by some individual in big bold words, he' s asking for trouble. Luckily I know this individual who never had a history of good calls so I watched the shows. Midas, HPH, Parkson Retail, FEG&hellip .what else? Somehow, due to bad luck or relying/misled by some metrics of the company or simply poor stock picks, the calls would without fail turn bad, very bad. At some point, a counter he promoted would rebound due to news flow or BB returning due to oversold and the stock recovers somewhat. As far as I know none ever returned to their former levels, far from it. But he&rsquo ll come in with big bold words, to taunt distractors and to claim glory. For ego? Probably. But everyone knows he had lost bad. Lucky for him he appears to be small kacang puteh trader. Those followers would have lost badly. Poor souls. OK lah let him say. I already made my point.

Yeh, I did caution on FEG when it was under stress from various direction from 15cst onwards. not like someone who keep posting shouting LOAD UP. I did list down the 4 main points to watch out. Ofc when FEG managed to resolve the rigs issue and manage to restructure heir debt, then the risk is signifcantly reduced. That happened around 3-4cts. Although I still do nto thin one whould " invest" in FEG yet. Trade yes.
So who call Falcon from 15 cts till 11ct till 9 cts then finally tiam tiam until 3+ctx then suddeny declare himself very zhun?
and who call HPH from 37cts and remain tiam tiam when it dropped all the way to 28.5cts. Now 33.5cts, suddenly out again. I know still got some distance before someone breakeven. Now come out again, intention SUPER obviously liao.
But what the heck! You me know HPH is played by SUPER BB. What you post and what I post will not move it a dime. This one needs to move a few million share for 1 pip.
