Sunningdale did a placement to Sam Goi at 0.16333 for 153 millions shares. Trading resume at 930.
As usual, when listed companies need fund for operational expenses or for expansion, 1st thing is to pump up their share price, then call for a right issue or placement. In many instances, minority shareholders will usually lost out to such fund raising actions. SAD
The first line is her synopsis, the second line is this morning' s UOB technical call for target of 0.205 both are independent issues!

And UOB said target price $0.200.
dilution which means share price theoretically should go down.. but hard to say one ' cos depends on few factors like who are the placees and purpose of proceeds.. if some big shot like tamesek are the investors, then likely lift sentiment up & move up.. instances where shares price goes up after placement like hacylon, counters that sam goi invested in and some others.. recent one like vallianz drop after placement, partly i think ' cos halt too long, contra players need to clear.. YZJ chairman ren also one of its investors, which maybe market dont like.. so if sunningdale halt too long, maybe also drop..

some people will think there' s value in the co......now trading at almost half the NAV/NTA.....see the thing?? Of course there many other reasons.....some good ,some bad....but let' s see.

Agree...cna discount is little n issue is small unlike vallanz.
More importantly, what is the placement for??? and if Koh Boon Hwee is one party, then it may be a good thing. Last reported statement see some sizeable debt also.

wah.. then depend who is taking up the placement. usually placee(s) will get discount and if the discount is too steep, then might not be a good thing. so far it seems only CNA' s share price manage to go up after placement. maybe is not placement but someone becoming SSH?
