This is not cashcow company. All their cash normally used to fund projects, if fact they are normally leveraged and hold minimum spare cash for such share buyback.

i am hoping they will do some sharebuy back or keppel to come in to buy more shares at least to let share holder gain some confidence

This one looks like shorts taking advantage of bad news. Nowadays, good news counter wont run. Bad news come only, everyone will start to short.
Wonder if these people have to cover later or not ? Or maybe the company come out to do some buy back ? Current price is tempting for me. But I scared to cut later on

relax, this is a energy exploration company. Failure in exploration is usual and expected and investor should have factor it in when buying.
Just as a disappointing exploration cuts a big heap off Kris's share price, a successful exploration can replace that anytime.
Current share price already take into consideration the news of failure (perhaps even oversold). Not a good choice to sell now.

Have bullets to hold la... But dun feel optimistic now .. If the entire block all same tai chi den really hong kan big time. This morning 9am remiser gave me 10 over miss call. I noe disaster lai liao. By the time I noe what happen, price fall below 0.9 liao.. Shortist all go in for free money

KrisEnergy tumbles as Vietnam exploration disappoints
Shares in upstream energy exploration firm KrisEnergy Ltd tumbled on Friday after the firm said exploration on a well in Vietnam yielded disappointing results, while the Singapore index edged higher.
KrisEnergy shares slid as much as 29 per cent to S$0.84, the lowest since the company made its debut on the Singapore Exchange in July, 2013. It was among the worst performers on the exchange.
The company said on Thursday that it had completed drilling and testing of the Cua Lo-1 well in Block 105, offshore Vietnam, and concluded that commercial development is unlikely, after another well in Vietnam yielded disappointing exploration results at the end of last year.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch analysts cut the target price on KrisEnergy by 13 per cent to S$1.22.
This company not making much money even it got profit. But lose big big money if it suffers losses. Not a good company to invest in.

They got wells in cambodia, indonesia, thailand and vietnam abt 10 in total. Krizenergy still unprofitable though.
