Hanwell is cash rich company . Can just buy and keep.
Anyways, First big play is medical. Next big play might be food related Especially FMCG like theirs. And good sign that they are in packaging business due to their investment in Tat Seng Packaging.

This stock is one of the most undervalued counter in SG market.

Time will show.

As I mentioned many times, management needs to constantly engaged the analysts especially now they know sales will be up. If management just want to sit in the office and shake leg, unlikely price will go highe

They are worth close to $0.50 on paper.
To run that high , they need BBs to pump.
Good thing is they have a good story with the increase in sales due to stocking up more people getting groceries and cooking at home . Government around the world are stocking up on rice and all too.

Maybe BBs might play .

This accumulation should be the beginning

Accumulation now I believe .
This stock is less speculative so don?t expect too much run up.
But Long term, no issue .

It might even run.

If you looked at the other thread , I have made the call at $0.189.

If You has followed, you are in the money.

well i feel, that stock will only run up at least to 30c plus range

stocks went up another 6% today.

Noting that their core biz is doing well and they have selved their expansion plans for Japan, hanwell will likely buyback and delist.

The NAV per share is almost $0.5. No need share buyback. Just delist and give us back the money. Then you can continue to sit in the office and shake leg

@not1965, think Director Yap heard you.

Hanwell started their share buyback if you looked at their share buyback pattern today. Management probably going to buy back these shares for cheap and delist.

Looking at the share buyback mandate as previous buyback patterns, share has about 5% -7% upside in the coming weeks. Hanwell' s share buyback mandate allows them to buy at up to % premium of trailing prices.

I saw many times, the bosses of Sheng Shiong visiting the supermarkets to sense the relevancy of its products and services so as to make improvements to attract even more customers. These are the types of management that will succeed and shareholders will have confidence in. The management of Hanwell should also roll up its sleeves and visit the outlets selling its products to sense its continued relevancy and to innovate with new products and services to attract more consumers, instead of just sitting inside the office and waiting for things to happen. Things will not happen!

When did you buy . You probably bought when it was over valued. Not it?s undervalued.

Trust me when I say any company that pays back 20% to shareholders are run by decent management already . There are so many worst ones

What is $0.03.when the share price drops by more than $0.30? How to trust management that they care for shareholders benefit?

Daxtheman      ( Date: 23-Jun-2020 22:50) Posted:

You fail to mention that they paid back $0.036 back to shareholders as capital reduction.
That?s like 20% returns compared to the price which have recovered even after returning

Note that they also haven' t done a share buy back in a while. Note if u look at their price chart, everytime share buyback got price spikes which they havent done in a while.

With the Japan expansion plans shelved and sharebuyback mandate just approved in the AGM and with the current cheap value share price on offer. Hanwell will likely just suck up the leftover shares for cheap. NBV per share is about $2bucks plus, insider will take this opportunity to snap them up at 20c/share.

Cheers,
Ochi

As long as management don' t change and management don' t want to engage the analysts to excite the market, this counter is dead forever Had been holding since PSC days from about $0.55. Every year down a bit. When market moves, it refuses to move. When market falls, it also falls. Cash rich but useless management. Only sit in office and collect salary every month. Sigh..... wonder why Sam Goi invested but doesn' t want to help lead shareholders in revolting?
