NTA = 32.38c
Last traded = 18.5c (before Halted @2.30pm today).
Must be for something so " important" - else co never halt for even 1 day since 2009 (as far back as SGX website record shows).
Hopefully something good is pending broadcast.

| It has been an eventful year so far in terms of M& A for public companies on the SGX. Over the year to date, over S$10.6b worth of deals have been announced, with over S$9.0b of them pending completion.
Of note, we saw three general offers worth in excess of S$1bn this year: 1)CapitaLand&rsquo s S$3.2b offer for CapitaMalls Asia at S$2.35 per share 2) Mr Ong Beng Seng andWheelock&rsquo s S$2.1b offer for Hotel Properties Ltd. at S$4.05 per share and 3) KKR&rsquo s S$1.5b offer for Goodpack Ltd. at S$2.50 per share. With still low interest rates, abundant liquidity and various public companies trading at deep value, we believe this wave of M& A could continue over FY14. Interestingly, things could heat up if competition intensifies for desired assets or if an offer is deemed to be too low. |
