hmmm actually I think those shares with hefty dividends expected may   not drop as much SHOULD your guts be right...i mean just look at today...so many buy ups...   ... on the other hand i   also feel prices   may start to creep up already... it was really great to see how the coy supported its share price this morning.... shows they believe this coy is fit for higher prices... just an opinion.... also ...one thing when a market falls, not all stocks fall...then there is the problem of never being able to predict market direction...no one has done so so accruately 100 percent of the time.

2nd chance bought 50% of today's volume .. amazing! Vote of confidence !

Well, I'm holding on to the following shares. I have a gut feeling the market will go crash after the London 2012 Olympics. Just like what happened after the Beijing 2008 Olympics !

sia - losing money! Thought of keeping it even if the market crash !

sheng siong - thought of getting rid before the xd.

cerebos - there's an exit offer to delist recently. No worry on this share.

2nd chance bonus warrant - thought of getting rid by next week but reluctant ! We shall see!

2nd chance - have been keeping for almost 3 years. Thought of keeping it even if the market crash !

I wrote to the company as well.. apparently quite a number of investors were confused by the latest report and sold off their shares this morning.  2nd Chance took the chance (sort of) to buy back 3k+ lots of shares.  Good that the dividend (to be declared) is still intact.

It means you may convert the warrant into the share by paying 40 cents each. For this particular warrant, you could do the convertion on the 4th & 5th year only. Of course, when the share price is above 40 cents, you may sell the warrant in the market for the different plus some premium any time.

Therefore, when you buy the warrant in the open market, you have to work out the warrant buying price plus the 40 cents convertion price and the projection of the futher share price in 4 to 5 years later.

Hope that helps.

hi all

can anyone exlain/

  if the ex price for the bonus warrants is 40 cents..does this mean that to convert to mother share , must pay whatever above the warrant px to make 40 cents ? then can convert to mother share? does this mean that mother share is expected to be ard that price then?

thanks a lot for any help

No dividend was declared ! My guess is bonus warrants issued lately is considered as 'dividend'.

As for the lower profit, it is due to the following reason:

===============

Overview
The group net profit after tax decreased by $12.60 million to $17.46 million in FP 2012 from $30.06 million in FY 2011 mainly because of the fair valuation of properties done on 30 June 2011 in prior year which will be done this year on 31 August 2012 i.e. the new financial year-end.

  ===============

Hi oldflyingfox,

Just want to confirm with you. I can sell my bonus warrants anytime, right ?
