What happened to SIA Engineering today???
Long time rumoured takeover or privatised tgt, currently SIA group doing review of business model. Review expected to be completed in dec, so currently stock range bound supported by share buyback
any good news on this stock? the company keep buying back his share
Volume and stock price going higher than norm, meaning privatisation or sia divestment of 78% stake near. Either happen would trigger delist, enjoy the ride.

4.10 current, more or less back to 2014 level. Valuation slightly below 3x book value, pe close to 30x excluding 1 time gain. No reason to gap up in june unless privatisation happening soon.
Break 4, privatization soon. Might be a temasek buyout as it seek to avoid a repeat smrt incident of hardware breakdown due to cost cutting by sia restructuring .
Well u could have double digit yield but face value crash by 30% , 3% yield while face value stay above water. High yield high risk profile, greek bond over 10% yield but 90% default possibility .
dividend yield slightly above 3% seems low
That why stock price recovered before result out, most likely no SIA buyout as special dividend payout.
Solid company giving decent div.....no disappointment.... hehehe
Result out, final dividend 9ct plus special dividend 5ct. Total dividend 18ct. Most likely no delist as special dividend payout.

For existing constituents, securities must trade at least 0.08% of its shares in issue in eight of the twelve months.
