yes agreed that the share price has been unfairly battered down.
After their consolidation of 4 to 1 shares, their shareprice now is still the same as before consolidation.

Yongnam is a specialist contractor especially in steel fabrication and steel strutting. Besides the Myanmar airport, Yongnam's footprint is everywhere, from the Marina Barge to Marina Bay Sands, MRT tunnels and LTA roadwords, you name it and they are in it somewhere.
Yongnam' share price has been unfairly battered down over the past couple of years but with the resurgence in the construction industry projects this year, Yongnam is poised to do very well going forward indeed.

Oh yes, YongNam is very much in my watchlist now.
I posted here recently regarding Gov' t spending of S$24b to boost the construction industry in 2017. Surely, YongNam will be given a slice of the cake. Changi Airport T5 is also a potential target.
At the moment, this counter is thinly traded. I guess I just want to be cautious and buy in only after the year-end results are announced, or if the volume picks up.
Do us all a favour and post here to alert us if you notice volume picking up.

I don' t think it is an issue of luck. It is a well-known fact that YN is involved in the new Myanmar airport, which is going on as planned (based on latest reports). Also, YN has an established track record for past MRT projects so I think it is in a good position in that regard also.
I am invested. Hope you reconsider your position!

Managed to buy in 49.5 lots at 198 last Friday.
Doesn' t look good now. Could be worse after results.

YongNam can buy or not?
Gov' t set to spend 24b in 2017 on public sector projects to stimulate the construction industry.
But I guess we should forget about Myanmar play. It didn' t work out and already priced into current market price for YongNam. 19.9 cents now.
Yup, I' m also thinking along those lines. A smaller project may include the MRT into JB. And of course the big one will be the mammoth Airport T5. But not sure if tender or bidding has started.
The negative side is the Fed interest hike which may have quite an impact on YongNam, but not sure if this factor has been priced in.
At 20c, it looks to be a good buy now. (I' m not yet vested, still watching)
