Any thoughts on the CDLHT deals? 
Think short term not good because of the income vacuum from the divestment, selling a 5.6% yield property and buying back a 3.1% yield W Hotel. 
Long term..good? company say 2.7% accretion but there should be some future equity fund raising right? cannot be do all debt for the new hotel buyback.

Given the death blow to Hong Kong tourism from the anti China strife. I am surprised no one is picking up on this and Long term benefits to SG hotels. Reports I see on some news media indicate PRC tourists are shying away from HK to SEA.
Bro I also think buy for dividend decent. But SGD up vs other currencies so this part I think will pull down their net

Ascott Raffles Place and Novotel/Mercure Stevens sold within 2 days at high valuations - does this mean that hotel properties in SG are now in play and are significantly undervalued?  CDLHT' s hotels in SG were always thought to be undervalued on a per room basis, as well as Ascendas HT. Wonder if they will now be deemed a value play.
These drops happen sometimes because funds end their mandate or people die and they need to liquidate holdings. I am rather keen too.

stay above moving average 20 and toward moving average 50 which is 1.58
volume is decent
1.65 is consider low and attractive, what' s more to say at present price of 1.57
so my conclusion for myself is, risk is minimize while potential to go up is great

i am not good at those very technical terms of charting..but i have my own way to evaluate myself, couple with market conditions,sentimental etc. the end result is i am always in the safe side and make some profits
but not 100% guarantee, anything can happen..nonetheless i am hugely vested
