think they just local developers.... anyway now developer are buying land in asia but NOT china....
They don't have any to begin with. All are local properties.

China alot of those love hotels as well.
This kind of thing can't reveal too much, otherwise MAS invite my friend and me to drink kopi then not good.

If you buy now you are betting that market will be, at least temporary, convinced that the new China units will add value to Fragance's portfolio when the announcement is made. But obviously there are risk that the market will not be convinced too.
Personally, I won't buy into property developers in 2014. For hotel side of the business, I don't think Fragrance low end units here stands to benefit much from economy recovery.
In case this could help you to weigh my sources of news, I have friends who work in IB.
Just my thought, you make your own decision.

Expand in china? I still thought most developer are heading London, Australia or some Msia....

I heard from insider sources, they are going to add two hotels in China to their Hotel division. And those China hotels are " not performing" too well.
How true is it you decide. Not vested anyway.
