1QFY16 underlying net profit of $47.1m (+8.5% y/y) came in-line. Revenue fell 4.2% to $416.9m due to 1) soft underlying performance from Japanese subsidiary TFK Corporation, 2) weaker JPY, 3) divestment of Urangan Fisheries in Jul &rsquo 14 and 4) loss of revenue from SATS BRF Food (SBRF) after the transfer to a JV. EBIT margin improved 1.4ppt to 10.6% on productivity improvement and cost control initiatives. Bottom line excludes a one-off gain of $2.5m from SBRF.
SATS serves fewer flights and passengers in 1Q due to loss of Jetstar Asia account

SATS, the ground-handling and in-flight catering service provider, says unit services, flights handled and passengers handled for the first quarter ended June declined year-on-year due mainly to the loss of Jetstar Asia account in October 2014.
Unit services handled saw a 4.2% drop to 27,100 unit from 28,300 units in the corresponding period a year ago.
Flights handled fell 9.1% to 30,150 units from 33,170 units while passengers handled fell 6.1% to 10.04 million from 10.69 million.
Unit meals produced increased 2.5% to 5.24 million units while gross meals produced rose 2.8% to 6.65 units.
Cargo and mail processed inched up 0.4% to 390,100 tonnes from 388,3990 tonnes.
SATS closed 5 cent lower at $ 3.63 today.

What is happening? Why is this going up and up? Seems like that is some big buying going on. Hitting new highs! Ride the wave till CD?

Company had buyback shares previously. So there will be lesser shares in the market. Very easy to cheong

High chance to form new high above 3.525 in coming months
Finally .... but i did sold some today lah~
4QFY15 results above. Net profit gained 21.1% to $51.6m taking FY15 net profit to $195.7m (+8.5%), with earnings boosted by lower cost of raw materials (-8.5%), depreciation charges (-9.4%) and other costs (-16.5%) and share of profits from associates/joint venture (+32.3%). Revenue for the quarter fell 2.2% to $425.1m, with food solutions (-5.8%) and gateway services (+3.5%). Final DPS of 9¢ declared, bringing FY15 DPS to 14¢ (FY14: 13¢ ). NAV/share of $1.30.
Never seems to be able to surge past this thick cloud of 3.20 resistance since 2013. May drop some soon and pick it up again @ sub 3.00 ~
