Agree with you!
This counter is not a speculative one. Is more on holding for mid term stock.
Base on charting analysis, is still in uptrend! For the pst 6 months, the share value and the volume is inverse relationship. This goes well with the past 2 quarters of their financial results, which are doing well!
However, June is approaching. Based on historical record, is more of a herbinatiin period for usa side which would be a spill over effect on Asia as well as Singapore market. Hence, suggest to CHAO by next Month. Keep profits and wait for next round.

GRANT OF US$1.05 BILLION SYNDICATED LOAN FACILITIES TO YANLORD LAND (HK) CO., LIMITED
This is a good news! Yanlord asked for $600M loan but banks (incluing DBS) pledge them $1B. In business, borrowing money to fund business expansion to generate more returns for shareholders is normal. (I rather they borrow from other people than to raise equity through placements and rights issue.) The key thing is not to be over-leveraged, which Yanlord is not. In Nov 16, Moody' s even confirmed Yanlord Ba3 rating and rate it outlook as positive.

It's sort of the refinancing term loan for them. Hence, is normal! taking up loan does not mean they r in bad shape.
By the way, the charting for yanlord is good!
Attend proper course and get the proper way of studying charting, don't just learn from website, or something.

After recent painful experiences, from now on, I personally set a stop loss at 5% from recent peak closing price. Sometimes 7%. And must act.
If it drops to that price, no more FA TA, just die die cut first! Hope that will work for me.
This counter has been green for me since I entered, then I bought some more recently. Then only today the price suddenly fell too much, my p/l turned red, then I sell off. What a pain (
Don' t know the recent news after market closed is good or bad:  GRANT OF US$1.05 BILLION SYNDICATED LOAN FACILITIES TO YANLORD LAND (HK) CO., LIMITED

There are a few very good TA textbooks that you can buy to read up on. After that, market play & experience helps complete the other half.

Looks like game over....
Hey guys, what happend with Yanlord today? It seems that someone is dumping it?
It touched my cut loss price (

I had the same fears as well. But Yanlord has been repeatedly profitable and under-valuated. So i took a leap of faith to average down. Really hope that it can hit $2.06 or be privatised soon. Return value for long-term investors like us.

Great! I didn't average it down then as I was worried yanlord might just be those cheap pennies that have gone underwater.

Bought some at the highest price of $2.5 in 2009 and hold till now. Bought some at the lowest of $0.995 in 2016. Holding total of 18,000 shares at average price of $1.71. So many years already and Yanlord is finally looking good. Privatization pattern is definitely there. Planning to sell at $2.06 (20% profit). Not greedy.
Last time bought at high...forgotten is 2.14 or 2.41 lol. Hopefully can breakeven and at least cash out. Kept for many years already.

Yanlord has launched share buyback five times this month. The company buy back one million shares each day on Thursday and Friday. If the company continue share buyback at such large amount, its share price should be above $1.8 and $2.0 very soon.
