Absolute share price of 20 cents is easy to achieve. A simple share consolidation will do. It does not change the value of the business. To me, what the management did was a very strange business strategy: Sell away the winner, keep ALL the losers. It is akin to stock investment by selling away the winning stocks asap, while keeping the losers because unwilling to cut losses. I made the most money in stock investment by cutting the losses ASAP, and let the winners run. So sell blue chips, buy pennies, anyone?

I see Envictus in a different limelight now:- with the divestment of its dairies biz, its mgt has more time and the necessary resources to wake up the remaining biz. More importantly, they must try their best to meet the sgx' s new rule on min. share price requirement.

Sam Goi' s reputation aside, I think a realistic time frame for a company to turn around ALL the loss leaders is not 1 quarter, but more like 1 year or even more. So I am patiently waiting for that to happen, but should not be so soon. Unless.....

Think at this stage Sam Goi is less concern about all these monetary gains but more so about his reputation & his ability to turn things around, leaving a legacy behind.

Hopefully he can turn Envictus around with the remaining business and hence he is a vice chair on the board able to steer Envictus into another great co

For Envictus, Sam Goi' s investment cost is probably around 20 cents. After taking 30 cents dividend, he does not have any risk anymore. In fact, he has earned extra 10 cents, which is more than enough to pay for his losses at JB Foods. The other investment loss at Yamada Green he has early early passed it on to Global Yellow Pages. Smart guy.

My gut feel is that management will not immediately turn around the rest of the biz divisions. Must wayang wayang a bit for a few quarters, then boom! turnaround successful after a few quarters of " concentration" , as management said must " concentrate" on the other businesses.

Employee share options normally have a very long shelf life. I am just wondering loud about the next Q results.

They just issued employee share option shares on 12 aug at 0.4 of 1.28m shares all of which are not entitled to div.

These should say something about the prospect going fwd

If after selling off the major profit center dairy division, and the other divisons suddenly reverse and make profit from the next quarter onwards, Asahi will be suspicious. Would Envictus show profits for the remaining divisions in the next quarter earnings announcement? Or continue losing money?

This company has the signs of a smelly company. One director sells, one director buys. Trying to confuse genuine investors.

In order to meet the min.  price (20 cts) requirement  for main board listed shares in Mar 2015, I think business expansion, merger and/or acquisition are on the cards.

Today is the last day for contra sellers to sell before XD. on XD, it will show a loss of 30 cents. Broking houses will ask contra payers to top up 30 cents. Not everyone can top up 30 cents.

I' m just wondering how come price never move up but slowly go down after declaring the div..

I thought it is due to recent market sentiment but today market seems good, this counter didn' t move up alot..

In the past, many stocks prices  fell way more than the XD amount. So not a great idea to buy just before XD, you can hold if you bought  at much cheaper than current price.    To each his own.

Also must be prepared lah, the xd price will be adjusted by the BBs. If not adjusted 100%, then is good for all.

If u have cash now you should buy now .
Tomorrow the price will open minus 0.30 ..
If market reacts favorably it should open 0.15 and higher. U might miss the boat if it open tomorrow at 0.17 for example.
From tomorrow onwards u only need 1/3 the amt of cash needed to buy and contra players can play by tomorrow.
Also by 26aug many need to redeploy the 0.30 extra cash.
It might climb even more.

Those majority shareholders will have loads of cash available
