the chairman already did some buyback, but wasnt very strong yet. Citic is considered as one of the leader in the waste treatment industry and even the rival China everbright private place-ed at 0.85 per share to take a stake in it. I just check the latest position that they have 631.3million cash positon, debt was high but pipleline project is strong. revenue is increasing y-o-y with dividend growth, just that idk why ppl is dumping this counter. its not being short if you check the short seller report from SGX. the PE ratio getting lower as the price depress haha

I think dbs Vickers is more accurate..target only 0.80

 

Don' t think Citic has much forex warchest to do SGD buybacks, and they probably want to conserve their forex quota for dividends to foreign shareholders/stakeholders. YZJ is different, they have many international clients paying in foreign currencies, so when the shortists come, they can effectively counter-attack with buybacks.

This company has their own proprietary tech (unlike Hyflux), got CITIC SOE cornerstone mountain, but still cannot escape the blackhole of SGX' s s-chip reputation. 

If SGX can' t get rid of all the dubious s-chips listings, at least downgrade them to catalist and away from the mainboard.

cash i check on BB is 600+m, go there, ppl acquire the coy liao lo

Haha. But I must sill agree that this company got v good fundamental. I Guess the drop in price is not being short. It&rsquo s either no big players moving this counter, no share buyback and it&rsquo s due to the general market rallying, ppl drop this counter to buy others.

Last month Sgx small cap just included this during talk in NTUC...talk untill sky also come down...UOB every week small cap talk also said very good.. all got con liow...

cannot anyhow scoop le. general STI dropping 2%, across Asia down, not like that day no reason down 10%. today is different story

but 0.61 still attractive.
