Love this Tuan Sing - may it continue to soar and reach the skies!!!!  Fly Fly Fly High!!!
Really nice to see Tuan Sing at the Top 10 volumes though. It is a long listed company with so many undervalued assets.  Just that price appreciation never seemed to be the 2nd Gen' s priority.    So many minority investors simply gave up and sold out. Glad to see the 3rd Gen under William Liem has a greater drive and aspiration to see share prices appreciate.

| My target minimum 80 cents at the listing of Gultech China. Else, just hold, watch and see. |

Here we go again.....up up  up.
This was my super big fear at 23-24cts last year - now rather unlikely given that any offer must be substantially above 60 cents to go through given current prices. There is a reputation cost to a failed private offer to both CF advisor and the buyer.

What if this happen?
On July 5, United Overseas Bank, on behalf of the major shareholders of Lian Beng Group, announced the offer to privatise the company at 50 cents had gone unconditional - that is the founding Ong family and friendly parties hold more than 50%. However, the announcement reiterates that the offer closes at 5.30pm on July 26, with no extension of the closing date.
The privatisation offer shines a spotlight on the vast difference between the offer price of 50 cents per share relative to Lian Beng?s net asset value of 145.58 cents. In addition, the company carries very a modest amount of debt, with a net debt to equity ratio of around 0.47. |

Lesson is dont play play with this gem. Try your luck in other counters without sound fundamentals

Is this why the matching take until 17:12? Because of the shorting?

Apparently they are authorised to repurchase 118million shares and have only purchased 169,000 to-date. So a lot more to go. Hope they rechannel more of the big profits from Robinson Point and Gultech China stake sale towards share repurchases to push the price closer to 80 cents yah.
There were a few rights issues, including one at about 5 cents maybe during the Asian crises or something like that? I remember that I subscribed then.  Hopefully that has averaged out the prices.BLACKBIRD72 ( Date: 05-Jul-2021 21:06) Posted:
In the mid 90s it hit above $1 , I still have a few lot bought at 99 cents ! Lolz

| Might see 58 cents today. All time high, after factoring in numerous rights issues.  This company was listed a long time ago.  May in the 1970s-1980s.  My mother said the highest was at 60cents. Could be. |

.... their buybacks and at higher prices very symbolic to take the price higher (& to more realistic level) as well as to " add belief" to (long-time) loyal s/holders NOT to be tempted (too eager) to sell at prevailing price (to hold-on a little longer) ..... so could reduce the sell " Q" volume and allow / helps the share-price to climb further.

I like the new 3rd Gen CEO who thinks the share is undervalued and wants to see it rise. This is different from the early 2 Gen who want stability. I like him. TS will climb sky high with this CEO.
