Buyers of Mencast shares do not want to buy at higher prices while the sellers refused to sell lower prices thus causing a deadlock situation. Hence the share does move for a while unless someone intend to buy or sell
The FY2023 NAV was 6.76cts, the EPS has improved to 0.32cts from -0.07cts..... the basic looks positive........ is the performance continue to improve, what should be the fair stock price? DYODD.....

The management does not want the share price to go up? Why the management does not want the share price to go up? Is there something brewing? I am trying to connect all the dots???..

The Board of Directors (" Board" ) of Mencast Holdings Ltd. (" Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) noted the unusual movements in the price and trading volume of the shares of the Company on 24 June 2024 and wishes to make the following voluntary clarification. The Board noted that an article was published in The Straits Times on 22 June 2024 entitled &ldquo ST Explains: What happens to oil-soaked sand after it is removed from S&rsquo pore&rsquo s coastline&rdquo wherein the Company&rsquo s wholly-owned subsidiary, Mencast Offshore & Marine Pte Ltd (&ldquo MOMPL&rdquo ) was mentioned as one of the several waste companies appointed to treat oil-soaked sands in the oil spill incident that took place on 14 June 2024 and a representative from MOMPL was interviewed. Save as disclosed, the Company is not aware of (i) any information not previously announced concerning the Company, its subsidiaries or associated companies which, if known, might explain the unusual share trading activity and (ii) any other possible explanation for the trading. The Company confirms that it is in compliance with the Listing Manual Section B: Rules of Catalist of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (&ldquo Catalist Rules&rdquo ), and in particular Rule 703 of the Catalist Rules.

The company is involved in the treatment during the oil spill incident. Any idea revenue and profits significant? May have impact on share price. HUAT!
