Inconsistent but Superlatively High Dividends over the past 5 FYs as measured against the share price of 29c yesterday:
2023    14.48%
2022      31.72% (assuming distribution of HKT dividend-in-specie to be worth 8.3c. Add to 0.9c final dividend gives total div of 9.2c)
2021    24.17%
2020    23.79%
2019    21.58%
Which SGX companies give such high dividends over the past 5 years?

None I know. Only private equity can match such high dividend payouts

No I did not. At current prices PCRD remains much the better valued stock representing effectively a way to buy PCCW at a significant discount.  My preference is still to hold PCRD until the relative valuation changes.sufficiently to merit a swap, possibly if/when there is corporate activity at the PCRD level.
PCRD would obviously benefit from a PCCW fiber transaction (if it materialises) in the same way as PCCW so that will work out well for PCRD. I would expect the share price impact to be proportionate (as that would make sense) for both shares. If PCRD' s share price somehow benefits significantly more then I may have to reconsider whether it would then be time to sell, but it would need to go up quite a bit first given the big discount to PCCW it is trading at presently.

Seems like fibre business sales may go thru 🤞
Simply irresistible assets.

I get that the status quo is attractive. At the current share price you get a share paying a sustainable dividend yield of 12.9% with the dividend likely to go up.
But there is another way of looking at it. PCRD is simplistically a holding company for PCCW shares. PCCW shares in themselves already yield 10% I could match the 12.9% PCRD yield by buying PCCW shares and using a bit of leverage (which is effectively what PCRD itself is doing).
Meanwhile PCRD is trading at a material discount to that implied by the PCCW price. On my calcs PCRD should be trading at least 30% higher (not investment advice, do your own research, all the other usual disclaimers etc). At least part of that discount reflects the costs of the PCRD holding company structure (paying board members etc). My own preference would be for Richard Li to privatise PCRD by splitting the 30% upside with us, and I could then go out and buy PCCW shares directly (potentially with leverage) with the proceeds. Win for us and win for Richard Li |

Probably I am more optimistic and this maybe a start of Corp manoeuvre by Mr Richard Li.
So far, enjoying the bountiful dividends received 😋

The entry price should not be a factor in determining whether to keep or sell a stock (except if you have capital gains taxes/losses to consider). Decisons should be based on estimates about future outturns.
Freely received, freely give
I mean since you got it free, can sell lower la
Or hold forever!

I don't presume to be an expert in any counter, but I understand that every counter has its day.
That is why I cannot hold a lot in any one counter. The holdings will have to be reduced to fund other things.
But thanks formless. I know little about Marco polo the counter, but i do know he was an explorer and that I' want to be like him too. So I sell my stocks to raise funds for my exploratory trips to the moon and for some charitable work.
Makes me a little happier than staring down one or two stocks.
He also told me to buy Marco polo marine when it was low.
