Why you should invest in Hanwell?
At current share price, Hanwell market value is $188m. But it has net cash of $134m and investments in Tat Seng worth $64m!!
So there is a difference of $10m! How can this be? I am not even taking into consideration Hanwell' s consumer essential business that should be worth another $40m!

There was a big push from $0.325 to $0.34 during the last hour of trading today as well. Bullish sign for tomorrow!!!

Based on 1Q results announced in May:
1. NAV per share = $0.49
2. Cash per share = $0.32
3. Cash - debts (non-current + current) = $134.2m
4. Net cash per share = $0.24
At current share price ($0.34), after deducting net cash, we are paying only $55.3m for all its businesses + investments. Its 66.3% stake in Tat Seng alone is already worth $63.5m alone (based on Tat Seng' s latest closing price of $0.60). Not to forget, Hanwell also has a stable consumer essentials business (with brands like Beautex tissue paper, Royal Umbrella Rice, Fortune Soya Bean etc) and at current share price, this consumer essential business comes FREE!!
Hanwell is seriously undervalued!! It should go up by at least another 30%.

No need to say, breaching 41 cents by early next month or even before is as easy as ABC at the current share price of 38 cents. What we should know now is why is the share growing with not a lucrative business? It is a hindrance to another company business or/and more to gain from its merging with another business? If that is so, then how much would the interested parties would pay to acquire and/or how much the major shareholders is willing to accept to let go?

Fundamentally a undervalued stock with Price to book (P/B) at 0.74 and Price to Earning (PE) at 19 with a low debt and growing income and profits ,, just seeing the income grow from 6 million sgd to 10 million SGD in 5 years we know the company is growing slowly and steadily , although topline revenues have been stagnant at 400 million SGD for the last 5 years.   good and performing company it has broken over technically over the 5/6/7/8 year charts with after it crossed over 0.375 and breakout over those previous highs.   Good to look out for 10 year high of 41 cents in October 2007
