Taxi fares go to the Merdeka taxi uncles. Bus fares go to LTA. Train fares go to the operators but the operators are required to maintain the train system.
So how is this school holiday going to improve the bottom line of CDG?

However, this school holiday and year-end season, most Singaporean families are unlikely to travel and therefore have to stay put in Singapore. This change in " norm" will likely help to increase the useage of buses, mrts and taxi significantly which will help the topline and bottomline for ComfortDelgro. Interesting... |

Zom Bee earns from the Merdeka Taxi Drivers and government's relief fund and tax payers' money, NOT from taxi commuters or bus commuters. MRT train fares are not even enough to pay for half of the train maintenance.
HDT Taxis is closing down. Sad. Wrong business model because it relied on the old man uncles to bring in the revenue to pay for their own salaries. This only shows that if taxi companies continue to earn from the Merdeka Taxi Drivers and Not the commuters, it is a No Go.
Do remember that last quarter government gave relief fund of 42 millions to Zom Bee. And Zom Bee's 'profit' was 21.7 million. Simple mathematics you can ask you grandchildren to give you the answer.
Let it go down to 1.3x and then 1 and then 20c. Want to buy, buy. Want to sell, sell.
