Taking over Swiber is super cheap now.  Or so it seems.

They just need to buy over the remaining 75%.  At last trade price of 11cts, just need S$42mil with a 10% premium.

But buyer will look at EV (which include cash and debts) to determine the actual price tag.  So this takeover will actually come with a bill of S$1.25bil!!!!

Anyway, there are a few possibilities:

- more disclosures

- default debt payment

- raise cash to repayment debt (ofc if they used up all the company cash holding how to pay themselves those fat salary?  So must get other people they hold hostage to foot the bill right?)

- buyout (or byeout)

- another MTP (maybe to be safe, they will consolidate 100:1 and tell people look my share price higher than OCBC, haha!)

- just for fun.  Backside itch lah!

Don' t know which one.  Maybe none of them.  Maybe one of them.  Maybe several of them.

Maybe Swiber has more disclosures to make after the previous revelation forced out by SGX.?  Paper cannot contain fire.

Their US$710mil project was to commerce in first quarter in 2015.  They only discuss about delay in June 2016.  So the project has been sitting for 1.5 years doing nothing and Market was aware about it.  And the company spent about US$2mil on something which they haven' t even started yet. Their kaizen 4000 vessel was mean for a Vietnam project which has been terminated and the company did not reveal it as well. Bottomline Swiber has been keeping mum about negative news.  Naturally Market will be thinking what other negatives that wasn' t raised in the query are Swiber not revealing.  Is this just the tip of the iceberg?  You know how Market react to a company share price when there are uncertainties surrounding a company.  Even so is when the coy is already problematic.
