  May I ask why usually for bad news need to halt so may days?

I think maybe something to do with delisting.. maybe .. there is a distribution of share by sinopower investment limited to SRE... news should be released tomorrow. let's hope is not so bad news.. haha

On 3 October 2012, being 2,658,781,817 shares in the Company held by Sinopower Investment Limited (representing 

59.20% of the total issued shares of the Company) were distributed by way of specie to its sole shareholder, namely SRE 

Group Limited which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, and SRE Group Limited had immediately 

implemented the distribution of 2,658,781,817 shares in the Company to its shareholders proportionally. As a result, 

Sinopower Investment Limited and SRE Group Limited no longer have any shareholding interests in the Company.

Shld be gd news. As last few days the price was up and in top vol.

From 5 cts it shoot to 7.8 cts.

Also china is looking into lower level income people to get a home.

This CNTD was just like HDB developer in china.

 

3 days no lifting halt....it will turn to SUSP....which means up the lorry

 

If no halt lifting then.....it.....will........

 

Halt super long.. I hope the price won't drop

StVier      ( Date: 16-Jan-2013 09:33) Posted: Back in Sept 2011, there was apparently an inquiry posted into the company by SGX for a sudden spike in share price in a day and was recommended to halt trading if there's a need or pending an announcement. The company's reply to SGX was the increase was probably due to the sales of a portion of shares by controlling shareholder to another company.   So, judging by the same trend (increasing share prices) prior to some event happening, the company probably called for a halt in trading to prevent getting an inquiry from SGX again.
