Back in Sept 2011, there was apparently an inquiry posted into the company by SGX for a sudden spike in share price in a day and was recommended to halt trading if there's a need or pending an announcement. The company's reply to SGX was the increase was probably due to the sales of a portion of shares by controlling shareholder to another company.
So, judging by the same trend (increasing share prices) prior to some event happening, the company probably called for a halt in trading to prevent getting an inquiry from SGX again.
This chinaNtown can end the rally for s-chip prematurely.
Let hope it announce a less serious one.

Try not to jump into conclusion first, at this point in time it is too late if you bought.
So just leave it to the wind, or fate.
I bought , and i m ready to give a big chunk of profit back to mkt.
s-chip are high risk.
but never mind, just try to profit as much form other penny before this rally is over.
I believe this rally end somewhenr in March, my guess work.
Does anyone here knows if trading halt for so long, usually is good news or bad news more?

Hopefully no suspended. I am holding China Minzhong, got China at front, surely affected if any s-chip suffer financial default.
