Front page BT. I share the same view that to succeed any bidder will have to make a very attractive offer since there are no major shareholders. At least the profile of this company will grow.

When a counter is of ' too good a quality' , then some party will definitely buy over the company/entity,... hence, it' s not encouraging to have such ' too good quality' ctrs as retirement instruments too. WE need to have so-so counters only,...
A listed entity can have a ' Halted' status for a maximum of 3 market days,.... recalled seeing this somewhere as being one of the rules in the Listing Manual. |

Very rare for SGX listed Trusts like these to have mainly freehold assets - our great grand kids could still have been collecting dividends for years down the road. Sigh.

Actually, for this one,... we can afford to wait because the yield is good. On the other hand, for the other counter that is still waiting, GLP, its dps is not really yielding a lot, hence loss of opportunity cost as each day goes by and the shareholders wait !

Actually, for this one,... we can afford to wait because the yield is good. On the other hand, for the other counter that is still waiting, GLP, its dps is not really yielding a lot, hence loss of opportunity cost as each day goes by and the shareholders wait !
