3.5 cent dividend news for lunch?
$8.5M kept with ICBC escrow account.. will be released to mfg on thursday..
This amount is not recognised as asset yet as it is in escrow. But once is released, NTA of company will rise to 14 cents. Then 3.5 cents will be distributed as dividend. NTA after distribution remains as 10.32 cents

Sorry, just wish to know how you that they will pay 3.5 cents dividends
This thusday they will be annoncing the 3.5 cents dividend :)
looks like interest in this counter is gathering.. next thursday announces 3.5 cents, this will go to 11 cents at least
Next Thursday they will announced the $8.5 million dividend equivalent to 3.5 cents dividend , share price 9 cents right now,. NTA not including dividend is 10.32 cents cash + property valued at book value which is the value bought many years ago and market value is much higher than book value.

ya.. next thursday going to announced .. if 3.5 cents, then huat liao cos the NTA is 10.32 cents and almost all is cash + their yishun industrial property valued at book price .. the actual market price is way higher. So the real NTA should be 13 cents.
Then this 3.5 cents is NOT counted into their NTA becos it is held as Escrow. So if u buy at 9 cents means after getting 3.5 cents, ur costs is 5.5 cents for a company with real NTA of 13 cents cash + industrial property. Even if u give it a discount, is still worth 10 cents consists of cash + property(assume sold at cut throat price0.

We will continue to market and accelerate our customized automation services aggressively through AMS in the pharmaceutical, bio-medical healthcare consumer product areas.
2) Improvement in results even with COVID, potential U-turn into profit next few quarters.
Earnings
The Group posted a gross loss of S$0.20m in 1H 2020 as compared with gross loss of S$0.50m in 1H 2019, largely attributable to the lower revenue base and the consequent large unabsorbed direct overheads.
On a balance perspective, the Group expects to hold or make a modest improvement in operational performance in the current year versus last year, provided the current COVID-19 outlook does not deteriorate further or drastic changes to the geo-political situation especially the trade war between US and China.
3) Dividend of 3.5 cents coming soon in Aug 20th (currently in Escrow account with ICBC)
On the corporate side, we are looking forward to receive the last tranche of sale proceeds, in the Escrow account, for the divestment of our semiconductor equipment business in August 2020. Barring any adjustment and financial situation, we hope to return the net proceeds to shareholders by year-end 2020.

Exactly 1 mth later 20 August, MFG will be getting $8.5 million from the Escrow account and distribute as special dividend of 3.5 cents.
