I just check open short positioin is only 36,941 shares as at 17 Apr 2026.

Open short position reported in MAS web portal is almost zero since last week. I think some short seller did not report their short selling..

There are massive open short popsitions , looks more like big short covring .
Anyway it is very strange for this strong price surge.
