2H24 was good, but full year results got pulled down by a bad 1H24. They should have given more dividends though. Hold so much cash for what.
Dividend for first half 2024 was only 1 cent ( due to net profit drop of 45m)
Now 2nd half is 5.8 +1 cent.Total 6.8 cent. (due to net profit gain of 16m)
How will mkt react today?
Dont mean to pour cold water, but I think may get sold down due to the reduced dividend ... and the recent poor market sentiment ... dyodd

Those figures you quoted are for 2H24 vs 2H23 only. For the full FY, net profit is down 29.5% (71m vs 101m). Hence dividend also drop by the same percentage (total dividend of 7.8c vs 11c).

Need good dividen to push the prices up.
Results out tonight will be very good. out tomorrow so so. out Friday (consider late cos last year was 27 feb) lousy..have this since 40 cents so when results release correlates to results quite zun one...results likely to be good cos hpht the sick child did stellar, and so did proxy shipping plays like YZJF.
I have the same feeling, maybe a generous dividends & special dividends together.

I think at least 10 cents dividends hopefully
May be Samudera might give out special dividends to reward shareholders. Last year 9 cents is quite a lot.
