Incredible - this one soaring like it strike oil or strike TOTO first prize or something.  Sold some of my holding recently, and now regret regret. But, luckly still holding onto the majority and bulk bought around SGD1.30.   Anyone with a theory please to share.
Keeps climbing higher and higher again.  Sounds like something is happening.
Anyone knows why this is climbing every day almost?  Now at all-time high.
If holding for Long Long term - it?s really status quo unless you want to stock up more.
partly also because the market has adopted a more risk-on mode and funds are switching to cyclicals while locking in profits from the REITs which had outperformed this year

I think it is because FED is maintaining interest rate. The funds / BB are re-balancing their portforlio.

With another good quarter, increase DPU and better days ahead with its US acquisitions - MINT in minting gold again. What a gem - and it was stuck below $1.90 for so Long before it spiked up.
Well - my thinking back then was that Mapletree is GLC linked, and should be able to make better acquisitions and attract better blue chip clients, due to its pedigree.
You are a Good parent with foresight.  Your kids are fortunate.  After holding 6 props here - I am sick and tired of paying ABSD.  Will make future property buys into the region, likely Malayian and Indonesia.

Hmm,... for myself,.. I have never thgought of buying so many units of AN INDUSTRIAL REIT. Pwehaps I was wrong in this aspect. I have been more focussed on healthcare REITs. Your average holding price gives you a lot of margin of safety. I look at it this way,... if the dpu keeps growing as time goes by, you will have a steady fixed income coming in every quarter for your life. I have always advocated for 4 times a year payment for SG REITs.
For my children future expenses, not only U fees, inclusive of to buy a house for him and her in the country where they are studyng in now or where they might move to in future, I invest DIRECTLY into that country or into those targetted countries to mitigate the currency risk.. I have opened accounts inside those countries directly so as not to be affected by jurisdictional laws, like in oportunities to particiapte in RIghts Issues, Pref Offerings, and IPOs...

Bro,... tq for your good opinions,... yes, I did think of your first point earlier, but,... I was thinking too,... if I can identfy another ctr that is still at a depressed price and have yet to run, it would make more sense to focus resources onto that ' yet-to-run' ctr, right ?

It makes sense if u think the price will continue to go up. I know it sounds silly but i see that often people reluctant to buy more than own purchase price.. if u expect price to go up, logically u shld buy. Moreover, if u dont get ur rights, ur share of income (dpu) will be diluted..

| Actually,.. for myself, my average price is $1.88. If I should take up this placement at  between S$2.211 and S$2.265, my NEW average price post-Private Placement would be jacked-up heavily, beyond $2.00. My margin-of-safety would be reduced very much. Does it make sense to get the placement then |

| I think they only make this available to institutional investors and big HNWI clients.  The demand was so big like 6 times oversubscribed.  Those who got it, already make money (ie $2.26 vs $2.42 now) |

I am a private banking client with minimum 1M USD investable assets inside. I am able to apply via my RM. But,.. well,... the decision must be right after careful analysis.

Mapletree Industrial Trust&rsquo s private placement was oversubscribed, triggering the upsize option, with the offering pricing at S$2.265, the top of its indicative range, raising around S$400 million, the trust said Wednesday in a filing to SGX.
