Covid vaccine may or may not get approval in Oct 2020. When a vaccine gets approved, it is anticipated the markets in Asia will gain a lot from all time low.
In SG, STI component counter will go up - first to rocket up are the ones with high NAV

Train service is forever a money losing service. According to newspapers report yesterday, because of the huge losses suffered by the 2 train operators, LTA has provided a 5 year Temporary Maintenance Grant to them. The amount is confidential and can only be used for maintenance purpose.
SMRT Trains lost $20m in the last FY (up to March 2020). The report did not state how much CDG Trains lost but said it was in tens of millions.
With or without Covid, it is a business forever dependent on government subsidies with tax-payers' money.
Results for coming quarters will not be good. Most likely will have impairments on the way. Be careful..
Both STI and CDG have more to drop.
Dream on....its neither soaring nor roaring. Each time it goes up, there is a force pushing it back down.
