http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/g20-inches-toward-2-trillion-011805264.html (Reuters) - Germany is easing its opposition to a bigger Euro bailout fund, smoothing the way for the world's leading economies to secure nearly $2 trillion (1.25 trillion pounds) in firepower to prevent further fallout from the euro-zone's sovereign debt crisis. Mexico City: This weekend meeting, finance leaders from Grp of 20 are trying to build up massive international resources by the end of April to convince financial mkts they can prevent the euro-zone's deep problems from inflicting more damage on a still-fragile world recovery. Since 2008 when the G20 mustered $1 trillion to rescue the world economy from the credit crisis, which blew up in the U.S. and caused the worst recession since the 1930s. It would mark their boldest efforts. They are demanding Euro build up its war chest 1st and other G20 countries would contribute extra money to the IMF. As Europe's richest economy, Germany's support for a larger European fund is critical. teeth53 thot:  Good news :),  mkt upside  risk liquidity is seen  coming Mon on STI and  Asian bourses.

http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/euro-zone-decision-size-bailout-093836753.html Bigger Euro fund is a condition for major non-European economies before they lend more money to the International Monetary Fund (IMF)  to provide an even bigger wall of cash to fight the crisis that has already claimed three euro debtor countries and now threatens the much bigger economies of Italy and Spain. " I would not bet on a positive outcome by the end of the March 1-2 summit," one euro zone official said. " German opposition to a deal is still very strong." Euro zone leaders are set to review the 500 billion euro ($675 billion) limit on the joint lending capacity of their temporary and permanent bailout funds, known by their acronyms EFSF and ESM, at the March 1-2 summit. teeth53 thot: Such news may damm further upside mkt risk  liquidity temporary on coming Monday. |

" Govt can take on as much debt as it likes ($5.0 trillion and counting since President Obama took office), central bank can increase the money supply as much it wants (an increase of about $2.0 trillion since the credit crisis began). But too much debt and too much money printing always lead to rapid inflation and higher interest rates.

KL tells Lynas to send back waste back waste. Rokkasho would consume 80% of Japan's spent fuel, assuming Tokyo decides to return to pre-disaster levels of nuclear power generation. " Even if the Rokkasho plant becomes operational, we cannot help but meet the deadline (for storage space to run out) in 15 to 20 yrs, just a little longer than about 10 yrs without it," said Hideyuki Ban, co-director of the Citizens' Nuclear Information Center and also a member of a govt panel studying the nuclear fuel cycle. But the waste problem is now so acute that experts say the facility will only buy Japan an additional five to 10 years before it has to implement more lasting but politically sensitive solutions, such as permanent burial. If it fails to find a solution to its waste-fuel problem, the entire nuclear power industry could one day grind to a halt. " We think there is an 80 to 90 percent chance of the plant being a failure." teeth53 thot- CLOCK TICKING....on unclear fallout and  it dumping groung  and it radiation, radioactive tailings waste  effect.
