From the look at Keppel DC Reit, data centres are in the limelight again. Worth looking into other Reits with data centres in their asset profile. |

The question shld be, if reits are that good an asset class now, when will most reits counters show an improvement in net profits and dpu? |

THE GOOD, THE BAD &   THE UGLY The Good....Cuscaden Peak offers to privatise Paragon Reit for $2.78b The Bad.....ESR-REIT proposes unit consolidation to stabilise trading volatility The Ugly....Mapletree Industrial Drops 5% After JPMorgan Downgrade But whether it' s good, bad or ugly, I say again , if not now, when?.....to wait for the prices to hit ath or 52wkhigh, then act?....... anyway, if u be ieve, do your due diligence, and make yourmove....trust me, . this is the year to start trusting the reits...... believe or not I not bothered.... JUST LOOK AT SEMBCORP .... I made a casual mention below, and it rocked the next day.... almost 5 % last Friday, almost 3% today.......in spite of so many negative   comments on its negative financial statements, in spite of DOW massive fall, in spite of trump...... of course there must be reason to all these..... but the reasons I don' t want to koyok sell it is because that DS guy and his many clones is following me, and the other is for some strange reason, admin is restricting me to 2 posts   a day...... I mean, the first 2 goes through easily, but the next one will need something like a thousand clicks for it to be posted successfully....... very waste of time....... any way I don' t lose a thing by not posting...... but if u believe the bm, juz have faith in six dollar SCI and eight dollar Keppel..... and yes, don' t forget UOBKH and HLA, HLS....I already mentioned them in so many places.... what they are doing now , is nothing, the best is yet to be....... off to a week cruise holiday...../ again.....:)

As I said, if not now, then when? This budget favours the stock market, the SGX reforms and revival stimulus will spurs the stock market further ..... plenty to talk over the weekend...... watch Sembcorp and Keppel....... meanwhile Budget 2025: Income tax concessions, GST remission for S-Reits extended for 5 years

Though there is correlation between reits price and treasury yield, we cannot be overly fixated on the yield price to track reits price. Many other factors come into play. The most important of which is still demand for the properties held in the trusts and the revenue they generate. |
