Usually ESR reit financial annoucement is much earlier than Viva , around  mid July but this year so so late. So I suspect ESR is waiting for Viva financial statements to be ready so that they can make individual financial statements (ESR and Viva)  as well as a combined financial statements (ESR-Viva) to allow shareholders to have a reference for the coming EGM (voting)

The dynamic within Viva seem not as good since ESR take over process. Transparency seem lost.Feel Viva mgmt may already lost control even before merger vote. Lets hope 2Q dpu still get distributed. dyodd. | ||||

bro, based on last DPU annoucement date, I expect the annoucement for the Apr-June period to be around the 15 Aug. We should expect to get the DPU as shareholders. By the way, did you see the company annoucement that the newly promoted COO (promoted in Feb 18) left the company for personal reason on 31 July ! I thought this is odd since he been doing a great job as Dir of IR, and got promoted this year to COO.

haha... I dun know why he wants to be small reit shareholders aka eg:  everton fans.. I want ESR and Viva  to become Manchester city and not remain as everton ... Anyway I think he must be fed up with the absence of financial results + dividends annoucement which I think is valid reason to be concerned. Strange how late this year the financial results for Apr-Jun is not out yet and I wonder are we going to forgo our dividend for this quarter? I hope the management clarify this asap.

Looks like the old responsive Viva mgmt style of the past has been override by ESR mgmt.
Outcome will remain the same with my meagre holding, "NO". Hope post merger, can switch to smaller reit, like Sabana that has learn its lesson and is now less arrogant toward small investor, like me.

I am Viva unitholders after switching from ESR to viva and I will vote, YES. :) Hopefully my number of  shares is > than urs haha. I want to become Manchester City, i dun want to remain as Everton. ![]()

1st step cleared. 2. NOTICE OF DATE OF FIRST COURT HEARING AND RECEIPT OF APPROVAL FROM THE MONETARY AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE (&ldquo MAS&rdquo ) As stated in the Joint Announcement, the Scheme will require the approval of Stapled Securityholders at a Scheme Meeting to be convened. Leave of Court is required for the convening of such Scheme Meeting and in connection therewith, the VIT Managers and the VI-REIT Trustee have filed an application in HC/OS 687/2018 (the &ldquo Application&rdquo ) with the Court for leave to convene the Scheme Meeting of the Stapled Securityholders in the manner set out in the Application or such other manner as the Court deems fit. The VIT Managers wish to inform the Stapled Securityholders that the Court has directed that the Application be fixed for hearing at 10.00 a.m. on 3 July 20181. Copies of the Application are available for collection by the Stapled Securityholders during normal business hours at the office of the VIT Managers at 750 Chai Chee Road, #04-03 Viva Business Park, Singapore 469000 from the date of this Announcement up till 3 July 2018. 1 Any Stapled Securityholder who wishes to attend the hearing in respect of the Application is requested to inform the VIT Managers&rsquo solicitors, Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP of 9 Battery Road #25-01 Singapore 049910 by way of notice in writing of his intention to do so by no later than 12 noon on 26 June 2018. 2 As stated in the Joint Announcement, the Merger is conditional upon amongst others, approval from the MAS. The VIT Managers further wish to inform the Stapled Securityholders that the MAS has (a) approved the acquisition by the ESR-REIT Manager of all the issued and paid-up shares in the capital of the VI-REIT Manager, subject to the condition that the MAS be informed promptly when the acquisition is effected, and (b) the subscription by Shanghai Summit Pte. Ltd. of a 25.0% shareholding interest in the ESR-REIT Manager, subject to the condition that the MAS be informed promptly when the change in shareholding is effected. |
