This will have the potential to significantly increase China imports of Durians and maybe to South Korea.

The Board of Directors (the ' Board' ) of NutryFarm International Limited (the ' Company' ) wishes to announce
that:

(1) Mr. Xu Hai Min has ceased to be a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 30 December
2021.

The detailed template announcement pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual of the SGX-ST
containing the particulars of Mr. Xu Hai Min will be released separately to the SGX-ST.
(2) Low Chin Parn Eric has been appointed as a non-executive independent director of the Company with
effect from 2 January 2022.

Mr. Low is currently an Independent Director of OneAPEX Limited, a Singapore Catalist listed company.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the finance and banking industry where he was previously
the Vice President of Product and Advisory in CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.. He began his
career at ANZ Bank as a regional treasury analyst before joining the fixed income sales and trading
desk of a Japanese brokerage house. Following his role as the Head of Fixed Income Sales and Trading,
he worked in various business development roles in DBS Asset Management, Standard Chartered Bank
and OCBC Asset Management, where he led the expansion of distribution channels before moving to
the insurance industry based in Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to working in CIMB Securities, he
worked at OCBC Bank where he held consumer banking roles including Head of Wealth Management
OCBC China based in Shanghai, Head of Treasury Product and OCBC Private Bank Investment
Advisory, where he has extensive experience in product development and management, marketing and
investment banking. Mr. Low holds a Master of Business Administration from Washington State
University in the United States of America.

Upon appointment, Eric Low will be a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominating Committee
as well as the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.

The detailed template announcement pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual of the SGX-ST
containing the particulars of Mr Low will be released separately to the SGX-ST.

(3) Lim Swee Hua David has been appointed as a non-executive independent director of the Company with
effect from 2 January 2022.
Mr Lim is a finance professional with his own accounting practice, David Lim & Associates and the CFO
of a privately held Cloud Internet Network Technology company. He was the Chief Financial Officer in
Koda Ltd from 2017 to 2020 and the CFO and Company Secretary of Kitchen Culture Holdings Ltd from
2016 to 2017. Mr Lim is a Chartered Account, a certified Practising Accountant and a Public Accountant.
Upon appointment, David Lim will be a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Nominating
Committee as well as the Chairman of the Audit Committee.

The detailed template announcements pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual of the SGX-ST
containing the particulars of Mr Lim will be released separately to the SGX-ST.

 

(4) Pursuant to Rule 210(5)(d)(iii) of the SGX Listing Rules, Mr Neo Chee Beng and Mr Jimmy Ng Poh
Khoon are deemed to be non-independent with effect from 1 January 2022. Messrs Neo and Ng will be
re-designated from Independent Directors to Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors of the Company
with effect from 1 January 2022.

Following the re-designations, (i) Mr Neo will also cease to be the Chairman of the Remuneration
Committee and member of the Audit Committee and the Nominating Committee and (ii) Mr Jimmy Ng
Poh Khoon will cease to be the Chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Nominating
Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

The Company has requested Messrs Neo and Ng to remain with the Company until the completion of
the independent review as requested by Singapore Exchange in their notice of compliance and the
Company&rsquo s annual general meeting. It is envisaged that Messrs Neo and Ng will retire at the next annual
general meeting.

The detailed template announcements pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual of the SGX-ST
containing the particulars of Mr Neo Chee Beng and Mr Jimmy Ng Poh Khoon will be released separately
to the SGX-ST.

Probably shared this previously, but if you read the article again, this will help boost the food industry within SEA.
 
Note that this railway is already here and working, but there is supposed to be " Thailand-China High Speed Rail" that will be connected with the China-laos railway and the cost of transport could be shorter.

" How long does it take for a durian to grow?
In India, generally, they come into bearing 9 to 12 years after planting, but in South India they will not produce fruit until they are 13 to 21 years old. In Malaya, seedlings will bloom in 7 years grafted trees in 4 years or earlier."
 
So why invest in a new investment when we have Nutryfarm.

Inflation is coming. The reason why these companies are doing well today because they sell consumer products. It is a defensive business. Durians can be countered as consumer staples.

Another 100 containers of durians! Let' s not forget they are also expanding in Singapore as well.
 
With the press release stating " ...revenue surging 42-fold to HK$516.77 million and net profit of HK$19.24 million." , my view is revenue could add another HK200m probably.
 
My guess is year end revenue to be HK$700m and net profit of HK$25m. DYODD. Its only my opinion.

Runtai Silk Road is part of the Fortune 500 Company, Ruentex Group, 润 泰 企 业 集 团 , a conglomerate based in Taiwan with diversified business activities that includes retail hypermart, RT-Mart (大 润 发 ), among others. Established in Shenzhen in 2016, Runtai Silk Road leverages on Ruentex Group&rsquo s extensive sales channels and resources to tap business opportunities arising from the new retail industry under China' s Belt and Road initiatives.
 
Thailand' s durian exports remain top in the world, with new export records constantly being created. According to the latest report released by the Kasikorn Research Center, Thailand&rsquo s total export value in May 2021 reached a record high of US$934.9 million, an annual increase of 95.3%. Export value to China, the country&rsquo s main durian export market, increased a staggering 130.9%(1).
 
The Group&rsquo s durian business has been a strong contributor to its third quarter results for the financial period ended 30 June 2021, which led to revenue surging 42-fold to HK$516.77 million and net profit of HK$19.24 million.
 
In August 2021, the Group obtained approval from shareholders via an Extraordinary General Meeting to diversify its business and expand its core business to include fruit trading.
 
And in September 2021, the Group completed a share placement exercise, via the issuance of 20 million new ordinary shares at an issue price of S$0.29 per share, to raise gross proceeds of S$5.8 million to accelerate its growth plans in Asia&rsquo s durian industry.

Singapore, 11 October 2021 &ndash NutryFarm International Limited (&ldquo NutryFarm&rdquo or the &ldquo Company&rdquo , and together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ), is pleased to announce that the Group&rsquo s indirectly whollyowned subsidiary, Global Agricapital (Thailand) Co., Ltd (&ldquo GAT&rdquo ), has secured a sales order of approximately RMB 65 million from Anhui Dingguan Supply Management Co. Ltd (&ldquo Anhui Dingguan&rdquo ) for the delivery of 100 containers of fresh durians from Thailand with the first shipment expected in November 2021.
 
Adhering to stringent quality assurance standards across its entire work process, the Group continues to comply with the relevant regulatory requirements for the export of fresh durians from Thailand to China. In addition, the Group has instituted safe management measures in its work processes since the outbreak of COVID-19 to further limit the risks of transmission.
 
In 2020, which is shrouded by the coronavirus epidemic, Thailand exported 575,000 tons of fresh durians to China, totalling approximately RMB 14.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 78%. China has become Thailand' s largest export market for durians.
 
Just after the first quarter of 2021, Thailand' s durians once again ushered in a good news: During this period, Thailand' s durian exports to China reached 186 million U.S. dollars (about 1.19 billion yuan), an increase of 14% over the same period last year. Chanthaburi, where the durians are produced in eastern Thailand, set a record of receiving orders from Chinese buyers for 20 tons (approximately 10,000) of fresh durians in one day.

According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand, this year will be the " golden year&rdquo for Thailand' s fresh durian exports to China. Both the export volume and the export value will reach new highs.

Since December 2020, the Group has announced various agreements to sell fresh durians from Thailand to major Chinese fruit importers and the total contract value of these agreements has exceeded RMB 1 billion.
 
The Group&rsquo s durian business has been a strong contributor to its third quarter results for the financial period ended 30 June 2021, which led to revenue surging 42-fold to HK$516.77 million and net profit of HK$19.24 million.
 
In August 2021, the Group obtained approval from shareholders via an Extraordinary General Meeting to diversify its business and expand its core business to include fruit trading.
 
Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of NutryFarm, Mr. Cheng Meng (程 勐 ), said, &ldquo We are seeing that the demand for fresh Thailand durians has started to outpace supply, as durian trees requiring at least 5 years to start bearing fruits. Furthermore, as an agricultural produce, the durian trade requires significant technical know-hows and industry networks. 
 
With the growing middle class in China, we believe that there will be more demand for fresh Thailand durians as it gains more popularity and there are opportunities for durians to be further processed into other popular consumer products such as dried durian, durian biscuits, durian cakes,

The agreement states that " The first payment of RMB7.5 million will be made within thirty (30) days from the date of Repayment Agreement."
 
This meant that there will be at least extra of RMB7.5m received.
