However, working in SIA&rsquo s favour is the apparently low risk that an investment in the company carries. The company carries negligible debt of only S$25m, which is peanuts for a company with a book value of around S$1.4b. It also pales into insignificance when compared to the net current asset value of the company, which stands at just over S$930m. The price has gone up to 4.64, resistance at 4.65, if it breaks this point, likely to go on to 4.70. Not a counter for contra play, this is a mid to long term investible stock. |

Gone up by a couple of cents. Prospective buyers do need to know that analysts' reports attributed MH accidents to lower repair and maintenance of engines at SIA Engineering and therefore partially explaining the slowdown in earnings in the first quarter results. There is also speculation that overcapacity may require some time to clear. Those are the negatives. DYODD. Expect this will be slowly crawling, it is a stock for long term holders. |

The line maintenance segment provides aircraft certification and technical ground handling services such as push-back and towing, and the provision of aircraft ground support equipment and rectification work. " Gross Margins: 81.54% Net Profit Margin: 21.58% PE: 20.54 ROE: 19.95 (PAST 3 YEARS 20% and above) - consistently high return on equity I think this is a gem that has been disregarded by the market, and should make a swift comeback. Where to find such highly profitable co.s? Ebola threat is not as bad as we had imagined previously, as it is a contact disease rather than one spread through the air. And there seems a cure being tried out presently. |
