x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The problem with SGX listed companies on share buyback. They like to buy back when the share price is up and high. Not prudence use of company funds. If share buy back, they ought to buy back slowly and at support / low price. Why pay more to buy at higher price? Even local blue chips. Keep pushing and buying at high and higher price. Often than not, " paint" the share buy back price especially when you see them buying at a range of prices to daily high. Top Glove is one that threw $ buying back share at high price. Keppel Corp is another keep " painting" the share buy back when they can buy at lower price. It is not a case like they have so much surplus funds on hand year after year. So, why they not giving out dividend? Not that they can' t afford. To look for  reason, we can look back on what Senior Tong said during one of the AGM. He said, if company got extra money and do not foresee any usage in near term, they will give it out to reward shareholders. Only when they have plan to acquire new business, they will keep the money. In this case, we can expect some movement soon. Not forgetting, they incorporated Taiga Singapore not too long ago. Hope to hear some exciting news soon.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Actually their report consider very good on current covid 19 situation..huge profit due to 1H lumber price up so much.. they actually hold back 88mil cash on hand, which 69mil was from FY21 profit.. kinda disappointed on they cancel and never give any dividend back to us. Mention used alot of money on share buy-back .. lumber pricing current back to mid-pricing now at 1.2k range ..(1.8k Previous high for lumber) Hopefully management do another round of share-buyback to stable the current price.
