Healthway Medical Corporation
THE Catalist-listed company will cut its directors' fees for FY2019 by 10 per cent to S$166,278.60 in total. This is in light of the current coronavirus crisis, and as a gesture of the board' s commitment to the company' s management to navigate the crisis.
The decision will be subject to the approval of shareholders at the company' s upcoming annual general meeting.

Healthway - The Coy has on 30-Nov-2017 signed a master lease agreement with Alkas Realty P/L. A wholly-owned subsidiary of OUE Ltd. Units is situated at #10-09 and #10-09A, 6 Shenton Way, OUE Downtown 2, S(068809), would be leased by Healthway for 36mths from 1-Aug-17, till on 31-Jul-2020, the term comprised a rent-free period of four (4) mths between 1-Aug-17 to 30-Nov-17. Rickon Holdings Ltd (RHL)is deemed to be interested in approximately 40.82% of the entire issued shares of the Coy by virtue of its direct shareholding in Continental Equity Inc. and indirect shareholding in Gentle Care P/L, that controlledby LIPPO.

Healthway medic reported bigger lost , share was bash down from 0.64 to 0.55 c , if we look deeper inside their financial position , in fact they are better of now although with larger shareholders base , before HWM was suffering from cashflows and little business , Inventories are short , where Dr , are not being pay for months , receivables are not certain if recoverabe , loan are given to subsidiaries with no returns and future . Banks are avoiding as their position is going insolvent. With the new management , money is not a problem as cash flow improve , new outlets and contract were signed within fellow industries , Dr salary are paid , where Dr and patient attendant improve , loan will be converted to shares in future basically debts taken care of , inventory like medicine was replenished . With this changes and others improvement , l think the future looks brighter for shareholders and investors of HWM | ||||

Management change , owner change but not reflected in prices and confidence of the shares , maybe this group must be also not competent ,as it report net losses, and thier trouble with finance cost and expenses ,and has never explain what they are going to do about it, if you are putting your life to it , l suggest you look further , they should put thier vision , healthway is no way .

CLINIC operator Healthway Medical Corporation posted a net loss of S$504,000 for its 1st qtr ended March 31, against a net profit of S$580,000 one year ago, due mainly to a rise in finance costs.
Finance costs were higher by S$0.5 mil mainly due to short term borrowings secured during the period for working capital purposes. Revenue fell 6.2% to S$23.2 mil, mainly due to the decrease in revenue of S$1.1 mil from the primary healthcare segment, as well as S$0.4 mil in specialist & wellness healthcare segment. Loss per share was 0.02 S"pore cent, compared to earnings per share of 0.03 S'pore cent a year ago. No dividend was declared for the period. |
