On 28 June, the Guardian devoted most of a page to declarations by the Kiev regime&rsquo s &ldquo president&rdquo , the oligarch Petro Poroshenko. Again, Orwell&rsquo s rule of inversion applied. There was no putsch no war against Ukraine&rsquo s minority the Russians were to blame for everything. &ldquo We want to modernise my country,&rdquo said Poroshenko. &ldquo We want to introduce freedom, democracy and European values. NOTE: Freedom is not granted, so is democracy to Eastern Ukrianians or pro-Russians folks, as more n more is spoiling for a fight.

The newly-discovered wreckage includes a large section of the fuselage of the Boeing 777, with windows and seats still attached. Bociurkiw said sections of the wreckage was punctured with " almost machine-gun types of holes" . Another OSCE official told the Sydney Morning Herald that sections of wreckage showed that extreme heat had melted parts of the fuselage: " Some of the finds over there are extraordinary... and the Malaysians who were with us observed that the heat was so intense that the aluminium wing sections of this 17-year-old aircraft actually melted." |

Why???. Ukraine' s newly elected President Petro Poroshenko had taken a hard line. Spoil for bloody fight..ehhh. He knowingly Russian is fully aware and Kiev also know their helicopers n planes and tank been shot. Was he trying to win over the West?. He did it and think Nato n U.S arm agent / FBI may get involve. (getting bad advised) If it happen, Kiev is oso not as safe as before as it is only an hour by flight. |

To backtrack, Putin annexed Crimea in March 2014 after a referendum was conducted and Crimeans voted for the Russians as they suffered under the Ukranians who neglected them. Political analysts believe it' s Putin' s gameplan to take Ukraine before it signs up with NATO for protection. Therein lies the dilemma, when push comes to shove, Putin could very well pull the trigger and send in his tanks, Ukraine would not stand a chance. It' s the Cuban crisis in 1961 repeated. But now it' s Russia protecting it' s motherland. |

We ought to put our ears to the ground and find out the latest news. This is not about Malaysia, this is a US Russian stand off over Ukraine. NATO could get pullled in. Putin seems bent on taking Ukraine, but he wants everyone to believe it' s the will of the Ukrainians. If this spirals into a confrontation, we would be severely impacted. As it is now, US bond yields have declined to a low level indicating flight to safety. Already the Gaza invasion could escalate into a Middle East crisis. Frankly I don' t have faith in Obama or Kerry and US doesn' t seem to realise they are no longer well muscled. The following week' s critical, it' s impt to stay within our means when buying stocks, not to get over board with gearing up through margins or CFD, and put in stop loss to limit any severe downturn. Wake up call for everyone! |

Channel News Asia reported a press conference where the Msian Minister was under grilling by Aussie, and English reporters, did MAS fly dangerously risking lives? A Chinese reporter (maybe Spore) asked politely whether MAS tried to save petrol by using a short cut. Evening news saw Maybank analyst commenting that MAS likely belly up. Pro-Russian rebels have shot down a military transport plane in eastern Ukraine, killing all 49 Ukrainian service personnel on board. Ukraine' s defence ministry said the Il-76 transport plane crashed after coming under anti-aircraft fire over Luhansk. In a statement. It was carrying troops and military equipment and was about to land at the city' s airport. The biggest loss of life suffered by govt forces in a single incident since Kiev began an operation to try to defeat the insurgency in east Ukraine.  The aircraft involved was an Il-76 military transport plane. He added that the investigation was just beginning into how the separatists brought down the plane, but initial reports indicated that three " Stinger-like" missiles were used.Analysis: BBC' s David Stern, Kiev Question now is how the govt will respond. After the shock of the large number of deaths - the biggest single loss suffered by the military so far - pressure will mount for newly-elected President Petro Poroshenko to end the conflict.
