He mentioned that cryptos have a 4-yr cycle and that no one who bought Bitcoin and held for at least 3 years had lost money. Cryptos are currently going thru a crypto winter which is at its final stages. Cryptos have probably bottomed out and are now still hovering near the lows. By the end of the year, they will be much higher than where they are now. His prediction for Bitcoin by end of 2026 is $200k - $250k and for Ethereum is $9000 to $22000. So far, Tom Lee has been right 100% of the time with respect to price direction though his timing is off. History has shown that his price targets were eventually reached though it took a year or two longer than he had predicted. Which to me is okay so long as those price targets are reached. So for me, what is relevant is his prediction for Ethereum. He said $9000 to $22000 by end of 2026. Let' s add 2 to 4 years to his timeline which brings us to 2028 to 2030. In that conference where he was giving a speech, he said if Ethereum is at $22,000, Bitmine will be at $500. And if Ethereum goes to $62,000 at some point in the future, Bitmine will be $1500. My goodness. Bitmine at $500 and $1500 respectively ??? Okay. Regarding Ethereum going to $22,000, this one has a reasonable possibility if we are talking about a period of 4.5 yrs from now till Dec 2030. According to Tom, when Ethereum is at $22,000, based on valuation, Bitmine will be at $500 per share. That' s S$943k for me. And if at some point in the future, Ethereum goes to $62,000, Bitmine will be at $1500 per share. That' s S$2.83m for me. My goodness !!! S$2.83m. This amount can buy 1,109,835 Ascendas shares at say $2.55 per share. Say dividend is 15.2 cts per share, dividend income per year is $168,694.92. Or $14,057.91 per month of passive income from dividends. My goodness. A nice thought. Its good to dream. Its good to have hope. Even if dunno how long it will take and assuming Bitmine really reach $1500 per share, what I do know is I wont have her anymore. I would have sold much, much earlier. The only way I can still have her is provided she shoots up so quickly in a straight line that before I could process in my head what is going on, she has already reached $1500 and I am still in denial and still trying to process what is happening.  In other words, shell-shocked until Bay Jin Chu and Bay Ting Tongue.    Never mind about $1500 per share. Whether I can wait for $500 per share is already a big question mark. ?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	We are here becoz we want to make money. All of us want to do precisely that - to make money. How to make money ..... this one.... there are many methods. Different strokes for different folks. It is up to each one of us to experiment...to risk money... to find out which method works for us best. No one will care more about our money than ourselves. So dont be lazy. Get to work and find out what works for you. Along the way, we will make mistakes and lose money. That' s okay. That' s tuition fees we pay to Mr Market to learn from him what works and what dont. Some of us trade short term. Some of us BUY & HOLD forever. Some of us just collect dividends year in and year out. I suppose if you have a good Dividend Portfolio which pays you passive dividend income of $4000 or more per month,  you wont mind just holding your stocks and do nothing else. Some people are drawing 10k a month from dividend income. If you have that, why would you need to jump in and out of stocks. Just hold and continue enjoying that 10k a mth income. Somebody said try to find a stock which can do 20x or 50x or 100x. Becoz if you invested enough into such a stock and it does a 20x, 50x or 100x for you, you only need to do this once. And your life will change forever. To find a stock which can do 20x to 100x wont be any of the stocks in STI. Other markets...I dunno. But US markets...I guess the probabilities are higher.  Plus wait for a bear market to come and go first. Becoz during a bear market, some of the damn good stocks can be down by as much as 50% to 60% when the market is at its lowest. When we are there, our greatest challenge is whether we still have ammo to buy. And if so, whether we dare to buy. By the way, the person who said the above " you only have to do it once and your life will change forever" was Tom Lee.
